I'm sure I've missed a few. Anyone able to help me fill out the list? -- The Prisoner -- Dr. Who -- UFO -- Space 1999 -- HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy --

Red Dwarf is the only other one I can think of as well.

Do you know if Red Dwarf is on DVD? I really like British SF. So different from what we do in the Colonies.

I'll have to see if Netflix has them. We're nearly caught up with SG1 and we're on the last season of Voyager, so it's time to put some new SF into the weekly rotation.
We've talked about doing DS9 again, but it may be too soon. Two of us are gung ho for watching Andromeda. But, we need to find something everyone will enjoy watching. Maybe it will be Red Dwarf!

I don;t know who wouldn't like Andromeda.....it was Roddenberry's creation....since when has Roddenberry ever gone wrong? ;D

It was Roddenberry's idea, but I'm not sure Roddenberry would have gone for quite such melodrama if he'd been involved in the final realization of his creation.
My youngest son and I have a higher melodrama tolerance than the rest of the family. We're the only ones who like Babylon 5, too. For pretty much the same reason.

I have seen a good portion of Andromeda though not all of it...and I think the series kicks ass personally....I don;t see how anyone could not like it

We've watched the first 3 episodes. It was enough to convince half the family to keep watching and half the family to leave home if forced to watch any more.

Blake 7 - the series was made between 1977 and 1981
Max Headroom - First shown in the UK and then in the US. I was quite fascinated when I first saw the "Head" on TV. LOL
Quatermass - a real classic sci-fi from the 50s.
And, if we count puppets as well:
Thunderbirds Stingray Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

Oh yeah! Thunderbirds! Weren't they kind of a puppet-style prequel to UFO?
