I like the force lance my self. I can't be the only only one who dose.
If you like a weapon not in the poll specify which one it is.

It's a tough choice....but I guess I will go with the force lance as well. It is kind of like a combination staff weapon/blaster....although the Qualta Blade from Farscape is kinda cool too.

While I do not know what many of the things on that list are, I know that a lightsaber pretty much tops all other weapons.

I say the guold zat becuase it is easier to aim and stuff better than a staff and with a jedi saber i can shoot you before you get anywhere closer than me. But i wouldn't shoot you lol.

I would go with light saber, but unless you have very good health care, or very skilled it would the worst one it have. I can see same dumb ass guy pulling out his light saber to rob a bank, swings it around a bit to show them he’s not playing about and cuts off his leg or something

It reminds me of a bo, a Japanese martial arts weapon. I think that's why it appeals to me. I can envision its dual function and would like the option of using a weapon in both a low tech and a high tech manner. The Jaffa staff weapons have similar appeal but they don't look as well balanced and as easy to manipulate with the "bulbs" on the end. They're too long, too! And come in only one size. . A staff should be no more than a foot taller than I am. 6 inches taller is the perfect size (for me)

Gua'uld staff don't know why it's porbaly more to do with my love of stargate than the weapon itself.

The hand-device shields were kind of like the shields in the novel/movie Dune. They turn away something with a lot of kinetic energy (really big or moving fast), but don't stop something small and slow.
I liked that concept, and the possibilities it brings to the table technology-wise and plot-wise. The shields were a huge part of basic background of the Dune universe. In SG1, they were just another Goa'uld doodad.

They can be modified though. In Window of Opportunity someone called Malikai uses modified Goa'uld shield that sends anything that touchs it back were it came from with a greatly increased speed.
