If there is one thing that can't be denied is that the trilogy has a very well written script
What is, in your opinion, the best quote from the trilogy?
For me,it has to be this quote thet Morpheus says about Neo in Revolutions
I didn't really pay attention to its significance until the end of the movie came close and I realized how much truth they spoke.

That's a good quote Kmylove.
This one is at the end on Revolutions, after Smith seemingly defeats Neo:
Agent Smith: Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more that your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist? Neo: Because I choose to.
Hugo Weaving did such a great job giving those lines. I could feel his frustration, his anger, and his amazing voice didn't hurt things either.

That scene is so sad. I think they tend to remind Neo what he has to do, that he has to let go of everything. And the whole scene that follows, how an exhausted Neo still tries to fight... Another quote I love: Well, it's a bit pessimistic as it shows that everything is pre-determined and there is no free will, but I like how the movie emphasizes on the idea of choice.

As I've mentioned before:
"There is no spoon." - From the original film.
I love this quote.

"You can't scare me with this Gestapo crap. I know my rights. I want my phone call." Which is followed by an equally good line... "Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger....and you give me my phone call."

Oh! And probably the best line in the first movie. "Why do my eyes hurt?" "Because you've never used them before" Freaky

I love Neo's attitude when he's being questioned by the Agents ^^ And that line is really creepy. I've found some really nice quotes in Enter the Matrix: Ghost has some brilliant lines, too bad he wasn't used more in the movies. And Sparks is just ace

Oh yeah. Ghost is awesome, and I think that's one of the best lines in the whole trilogy

Hamman's line is pretty scary, yet so true. In the scene with Neo and the Archiect, I like the contrast between Neo's calm and the way his on screen images react ^^

Yeah, I've heard about ETM. I think I saw a DVD for it at JB Hi Fi the other day? Anyway. Hamman's line is pretty awesome, reflects Morpheous' line about never using your eyes before. But technically, are people asleep when in the Matrix? I would say yes, because how could their brain consume all the data from the Matrix and still function conciously. But then, are they "asleep" or just not fully concious? Because they are techincally "awake" inside the Matrix; their brain is alive and fucntioning conciously to absorb the Matrix.

I think it's a sort of sleeping state, it probably connects to the different stages of the sleep, the one when you dream and your brain is extremely active.
