Thanks for the wiki link... wow, you can look almost anything up on there, can't you? And I was wrong, looks like he only says 4 words an episode. ;D No problem. I read it myself after posting it's link, it's quite an interesting read.

I'm really enjoying season 2, i forgot how rough Mulder has it at the start to halway through the season. First the x-files is close down and Fox is all worn down and feeling defeated, then Scully gets abducted {to cover Gillian Anderson's immediate new arrival) and when he gets her back she only just pulls through. And even though the x-files gets reopened, there's a shapeshifter on the loose and Mulder's "sister" comes back after 20 years!! The two parter with Mulders sister: colony and End Game was very good and are worth watching! But with the initial sub-story of clones - when Skinner beat up Mr X, i still wondered "But is that the real Skinner though? Aaargh my heads going to explode!!" It was very clever, because the shapeshifter could be anyone, it really messed with my brain!

I have only a vague memory of that episode bones. Do you remember the name of it so I can look up a detailed synopsis or review, or possibly re-watch it like we watched Enterprise?

Ah, The X-Files.
I originally started watching around the 4th season or so, I believe. I still haven't really seen much of the episodes before that (*adds to "to-see" list*), and after Mulder left, I pretty much lost interest, but I tuned in fairly often out of habit, mainly. I was disappointed.
I have seasons 5 and 6 on DVD - some of my favorite episodes from the whole series in these two seasons:
Five: * Unusual Suspects (we see how the Lone Gunmen came to be) * The Post-Modern Prometheus - (awesome) Shot in B&W, Similar themes to Frankenstein (A Modern Prometheus) - plus: Cher! * Kill Switch - They literally want to live in the net. A conscious program wants its freedom. * Bad Blood - a "he said/she said" Vampire story. Some great moments, lots of humor. * All Souls - battle for innocent souls? * The End - a 12 y/o chess champ might hold the key to everything.
Six: * The Beginning - continuing from The End * Triangle - let's do the Bermuda Time Warp again. * Dreamland I & II - Area 51, of course. Life swap. One of the few times (as far as I know) the "mirror routine" (a theatre training standby - not easy!) has been put on film. * How the Ghosts Stole Christmas - a "haunting" yet fun Xmas story. * Terms of Endearment - "I'm Only Happy When it Rains". A demon daddy just wants a normal baby. * The Rain King - He makes the weather. * S. R. 819 - Skinner is infected with a mysterious disease. * Tithonus - A really, really old photographer captures moments of death on film, looking to come face to face with Death itself. * Monday - The same day is repeated over and over until the right choice is made. * Agua Mala - Sea monsters? Don't all the nuts roll down to Florida. * Arcadia - a "perfect" community hides a dirty little mystery. * Milagro - Infatuation, a writer, murder, hearts, love? * The Unnatural - a completely enjoyable episode - especially if you like baseball. Even if you don't, it's a delightful episode. Jesse L. Martin costars. * Three of a Kind - A sequel of sorts to Unusual Suspects. * Biogenesis - Proof?

I love X-Files!
I read recently that the head writer (John Shiban) wrote the miniseries "The Gathering" .. it premieres this weekend, so I've been meaning to check it out. It shouldn't be bad if it's by someone who was a part of something as great as the X-Files.

It has Peter Fonda and Jamie-Lynn Sigler in it......she was fantastic in The Sopranos. It's gotta be good!!

it's definitely gonna be awesome. Should be interesting to see Meadow... er, Jamie-Lynn as a witch (or atleast I'm told her role is one of the witches). Can't wait!

So, I got my latest copy of Entertainment Weekly recently, and *drumroll* - The "long-awaited film sequel... will begin production this December in Vancouver, according to 20th Century Fox" The article also states that "Creator Cris Carter says that the movie will focus on a stand-alone mystery rather than exploring the show's dense mythology.... stating 'It will be scary'" [EDIT: LINK TO ONLINE EW ARTICLE] Personally, I'm DELIGHTED they're not going with a mythology-heavy movie. ^_~ Oh and: It's about time!

I've seen the new movie and it's kind of.. .. ..the odd one out.. It's not bad, but doesn't match up to the series or the other movies..
Well that was my opinion anyway..

I watched The X-Files from its pilot up until around season 7. It was a great show. I stopped watching about the time Mulder left though. My favorite season is season 4.

I used to love the show, then it started getting too silly... I stopped watching it all together when David Duchovny left. Have seen the 1st movie ( have it on video lol) but not the resent one. I'm busy watching the shows re-runs on Virgin.

Are they showing them on Virgin1? What season are they up to?
I could never muster up enough enthusiasm to keep watching after season four, When it aired in the UK I found it repetitive after the fourth season, but I still wish I'd stuck with it now. Still haven't seen the last movie. (Seen the first though.)
