The 80's TV show? I have seen it, wow it was such a long time ago! It was more of one of those "guy shows" but I liked it. The best thing about it was car, though. And the theme song was nice and original. If you have the scifi channel I think they show them, but I never know what time it's on.

Even though I never missed the show as a kid, it is painfully bad by todays standards (or even the 90's). Very, very predictable plots (you could tell time by certain benchmarks in the story), terrible physical stunts, over acting, stupid/inconsistent technobable (especially if you know anything about computers) and a host of other things makes me question how I could have tolerated it, even as a ten year old.

Even though I never missed the show as a kid, it is painfully bad by todays standards (or even the 90's). I agree. I used to watch Knight Rider (which was first shown in 1982), as well as Streethawk (the motorbike show), and Airwolf. Loved them all, but by today's standards they are boring, not very well done, and the acting is often non-existing. Here is a wikipedia site that has all the info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight_RiderBTW, for those who are interested, a film is in the making, based on the Knight Rider series. It's suppose to be out in 2008: www.imdb.com/title/tt0384254/

Of course there is always Knightrider 2000 to watch before the 2008 film and Knightrider has been shown recently on Bravo in the UK.

A movie?? I'm glad, as I finally have something to look forward to at the theters. The show is good enough if you can get past what makes it cheesy, and all the "WTF" moments that come up. A talking car though...
