OK, since no one else provides us with some stimulation of the grey cells... LOL here is another one. ;D
If Susan is 10, Arabella is 20, and Jim and Neal are both 5, but Richard is 10, how old is Jennifer by the same system?

not good for this late at night hmm 2,5 ? Errr... nope. And I would like to know how he or she arrived at the answer - otherwise I have to assume, someone only got it right by guesswork.

Jennifer would be 15. My reasoning; (I'm probably wrong as I'm retarted with numbers) Susan is 10, Arabella is 20, doubled Susans age, Jim and Neal are 5, 1/4 the largest age yet, doubleling that (as the the second age from the first two was doubled) would be 10, which is Richard, 2/4 or one half the age of the largest age yet. Since Wolf is wrong in doubeling it again, as 20 was wrong, I guess 15, as adding one more quarter to the age steps would be consistant with everyone after Arabella, and that adding one quarter more, would be one quarter less the 20, the highest age. While my logic seems correct, I'll be surprised if I figured it out And I hope all of that made sence, lol

Damn you for beating me to the punch if your right, andf thank you for beating me to the punch if wrong, that way you look like the moron and not me

LOL I still think I'm wrong, just for the fact numbers and my mind do not mix. I have more of an abstract mind, perhaps that's why I have the intrests that I do, but for some reason this made sence to me. Although I must admit, I would have went for 20 like Wolf did, that seemed the most logical choice, but since he was wrong, I had to figure it up another way, and that's when I noticed the quarters and came up with the quarter theory.

well.I then went with 40 because of this...
If Susan is 10, Arabella is 20, and Jim and Neal are both 5, but Richard is 10, how old is Jennifer by the same system?
20 is double the first age....10 is double the first age for the boys...so i went with the theory that with every group the next age was doubled...10 then 20...5 then 10...so considering it went back to a girl...i went with 20 doubled...40

The reason is rather more simple than you think though: Jennifer is 15, in a system that awards 5 for each syllable of their names.
