Okay everyone! I've decided to put up a new Sci-Fi Movie trivia set which I will hopefully have time to update with new questions 2 or 3 times a week. These are random questions about random Sci-Fi flicks. Maybe someday I'll do one with a theme, but for now, we'll stick with randomness!! Please PM me all of your answers. Once again, PLEASE PM ALL OF YOUR ANSWERS! (I forget to do it sometimes too then Myke has to go in and delete all of my answers in the post. Sorry Myke!!)
1. What did the natives of Planet Arrakis call Paul Atreides in the Dune movies? I won't count off for spelling. (Theatrical version as well as Sci-Fi Channel version) (5 points)
2. How many Jigawatts of electricity are required to power the DeLorean's Flux Capacitor in the Back to the Future films? (5 points)
3. Give me the names of the characters portrayed by Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich in "The Fifth Element." (5 points)
4. In Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, how did Lex Luthor create Superman's foe, The Nuclear Man? (5 points)
5. In Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, what was the name of the device that allowed Spock to cheat death? (5 points)
6. Who played the evil Jedi "C-O-C-K-Knocker" in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?" Also, who played the Nun in the same film? (2.5 points per correct answer)
7. When Neo was freed from the Matrix, his muscles had atrophied. What was the reason that Morpheus gave for this? (5 points)

9. In the Jet Li film "The One" what was the reason for Jet Li's character growing stronger and stronger? (5 points)
10. In the J-Lo flick, "The Cell," what did that crazy machine allow J-Lo to do to another person? (5 points)
BONUS: In the first "Highlander" movie, who did Sean Connery say he was, and what was his occupation? (10 points)
Good Luck!! Possible 60 points today!!! Remember to PM your answers to me!

Temnator 1 & 2 I havent seen the third one yet. 1. The name of the machine / company that becomes self aware and launches the nukes. - Skynet 2. The name of the leader of the Human Resistance in the future. - John Connor 3. The reason the T-800 had his human companions terminate him at the end of Judgment Day? - To return back to the original timeline. Part 2 is an alternate timeline where Skynet came earlier then expected. The real date Skynet came to life is actually much later as shown in part 3. The reason part 2 is an alternate timeline is because after part 1's Terminator failed to alter time the leftbehind items allowed humans to create Skynet alot sooner. Which hence created a new timeline. - & also hope that it would stop Judgement Day because he too could be used to create Skynet thanks to his tech. lol 4. Who played Sgt. Reese in the first one? - Dunno, lol is it the part 3 boy's father? they look alike 5. The model of the liqued metal terminator in Judgment DAy? - T1000

Welcome to another installment of "Speed's Randomly Updated Sci-Fi Trivia!" It seems I have trouble keeping a set schedule when it comes to updating these things. LOL! I will endeavor to do better, but who can tell if that will work? Here's this segment's questions. They all relate to my favorite time travel trilogy of all time. BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!! All questions are worth 5 points unless otherwise specified. The Bonus is worth 10. Remember, kids, PLEASE PM YOUR ANSWERS!! Thanks! 1. What was Marty McFly's Mother's Maiden name? 2. Where is the Hill Valley Town Square (featuring the Clock Tower) located in the real world that you and I inhabit? 3. What are the only two things powerful enough (according to Doc Brown) to generate the 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity needed to cause temporal displacement? (2.5 points for each correct answer) 4. What is the name of the "Y-Shaped" device located in the center of the DeLorean behind the seats that actually makes time travel possible? 5. In BTTF1, what was attached to the DeLorean in order to send Marty home? HINT: They had to attach this because there was no available plutonium in 1955. 6. When did the DeLorean first break the time barrier and who was it's first passenger? (Looking for the specific month, day, and year as well as name of passenger) (2.5 points per correct answer) 7. In BTTF2, when Marty went into the "Cafe 80's" who were the 2 "video waiters" that took Marty's order? (2.5 points each) 8. In BTTF3, what was the name of the school teacher that Doc fell in love with? 9. Upon entering a new time, the DeLorean emits a certain number of these. How many are there, and what exactly are they? (2.5 each) 10. When Doc and Marty hijacked the train in 1885, the engineer asked, "Is this a hold-up?" What was Doc's clever and comical response? BONUS: When the DeLorean was struck by lightning in 1955 and the Western Union Guy delivered Doc's letter from 1885 to Marty, how did Doc sign the letter right before his name? (i.e. Sincerely, Best Regards, Affectionately Yours, etc. etc.) Have fun with these! I know I have fun coming up with them! Don't forget to PM the answers!!

Note To Members As I'm sure you guys and gals know, we have a new banner on top of the forum, replacing the text and links to access the private messenger intigrated within Temporal Reality. Currently I am working on adding a code that will create a Javascript window alerting member when they have a new message. The javascript window will pop up and tell you, however I am having problems getting the thing to actually work, so it still may be a few days before I come to a solution. The code is flawless, so I imagine it is conflicting with another code here. I'll have to figure something out. For the time being, please check at the bottom of the forum, in the 'forum info' table for private mesage alerts, just above the scrolling affiliates ~Myke

Here are the answers for my Back to the Future Trivia List.
1. Baines - In Back To The Future 1, Lorraine's maiden name is mentioned several times.
2. To this day, the 1955 version of the Hill Valley, California Town Square is located on the Universal Studios Back Lot in Hollywood, California. I saw a picture taken there a few years ago at the Annual DeLorean Owners Association Convention. It was awesome! Nothing but DeLoreans parked all around the Hill Valley Court House/Clock Tower. I'll see if I can locate it and post it here in the near future.
3. I'm looking for a nuclear reaction, and a bolt of lightning. Vold said plutonium, which is required for the Nuclear Reaction, so I will accept that as well.
4. The Flux Capacitor or course!
5. A lightning rod, or pole with a hook. Both are acceptable.
6. October 26th, 1985. Doc's Dog Einstein, was the world's first time traveller! (John Titor not withstanding. LOL!)
7. Ronald Reagan and the Ayatollah Khomenhi were the two video waiters that took Marty's order for a "Pepsi Perfect." Sorry Vold, Michael Jackson WAS there, but he wasn't waiting on Marty.
8. Clara Clayton
9. The DeLorean emits 3 Sonic Booms. They are also accompanied with three bursts of light.
10. "It's a science experiment!!!"
Bonus: "Your friend in time,"
Once again, GOOD JOB VOLD!!!! Vold scored 40 points this week, and once again was the ONLY PERSON cool enough to enter! Thanks for being involved, Vold! We love ya!!
See you all next week!

Speed, since Temporal Reality's Trivia contest is lacking, and it's posted on the main page Would you want to help me run it? We could alternate weeks, or alternate days or whatever. I could also start promoting the trivia contests as a stand alone attractions, as opposed to promoting the entire site, in the end they would have the same result, with the only different beig more trivia players ~Myke
