The REvised REsident Evil. The list could go on and on. Hey Max Mouse, remember the computer I had when I was like 7 or 7, the one that would only appear in binary and only responded to DOS commands? I remember beating the shit out of my best friend when I beat Tyson in Punch out. I went to grab a camera to take the picture to send into Nintendo Power magazine(remember that?) because they always posted pics of people when they beat games(you had to supply a pic). My friend reset the game and started playing again. I was pissed Never did get the pic either. It took me months to beat the bastard, never did it again either because I lost interest. remember Baseball Stars for the NES? Mario brothers 1,2,3 Mega Man Contra ( who will ever forget the universal code for all Konami games?) Mario Kart for the SNES Super Mario for the SNES Zelda for the SNES SimCity for the SNES Triple play 95 for Genesis NHL 95 for the Genesis SimCity 2000 for the Saturn Playstation I had about 50 games as favs Now I'm into more PC games SimCity4 is awesome, Medal of Honor, Civilization 3 etc

I'm not a big videogamer anymore, but I remember being into it as a kid too...Punch Out was an awesome game, but I always got my ass handed to me...;D... There was some sort of wrestling game on Nintendo where it was basically about tag team wrestling...I think it was called Tekin Tag Team Wrestling or something, all I remember is that game was AWESOME! I used to love playing it...And some of the guys on there had pretty cool gimmicks too ... The only games I play now are with my 11 year old brother and they're mostly wrestling and basketball...The new Smackdown game (Here Comes The Pain) is easily my favorite wrestling game ever...It's as close to perfect as possible...I was playing with him earlier, I was Ric Flair (that damn DVD set has me obsessed with the dude) and he was Shawn Michaels, and I spent most of the match working over his leg specifically so that when I finally whipped the figure four on him, he tapped like his name was Gregory Hines...Fun stuff... Legends Of Wrestling 2 was also an awesome game...

I have to agree about Punch out joe. I LOVED that game, and still do. Little Mac can fight, I'll give him that. It wasnt untill I got to Soda Popolinski (or whatever his name was) untill I started having problems. Super Macho Man was tough too, but nothing beats Mike Tyson / Mr Dream. One hit from them and you were down, almost for the count. Over time though, I figured out thier moves before they knew what move they were gona use. I am impressed with that game to this day. for one it shows true rising to the contendership level, something WWE lacks, and two each opponent had difeerent fighting syles. After a while though one could figure the fighting styles and defeat them. To this day I love that game and would love to go get na old Nintendo, just so I could play it again ~Myke

Bald Bull was easy to beat, but you had to get the timing down.
Tyson was a pain as well, but once you got the punches down, easy really, but when your 10 or 11 you don't play to study moves though, you play to win thus making it harder than it actually is.

Tyson's Punch Out was cool. But man, that game was hard.
Nintendo-Zelda, the original, beofre it went 3-D and sucked.
Sega Genesis- Shining Force series, 1 or 2, good, good RPG strategy.
Super Nintendo- Chrono Trigger. Greatest RPG ever.
Playstation- Resident Evil II, scariest game ever.
Playstation II- Madden 2003. I love football, and I can not get enough of this game, and I can't wait till I finally get broadband for it and can smash my brother in it.
Gamecube- Resident Evil, the remake. Damn, somehow, they took the greatest game ever, and made it better.
XBOX- I'd guess Halo, but I really don't like FPS's all that much.Would be more fun online I think.
Computer- Civilization, any of them.

FINAL FANTASY 1-11Online
I have to say that these games reign supreme and I know I'll probably get flamed for my opinions, but so be it. I played the first one on NES, I played 4JAP/2USA on SNES as well as 6JAP/3USA on SNES. I have Chronicles, which contains 4JAP/2USA and Chrono Trigger on PS1, As well as Origins which has 1 and 2 on PS1. I've also downloaded an NES emulator so I can play a translated version of 3 which was never released in America. And I have 5 on PS1, as well as 7,8,and 9. Then I have X and X-2 on PS2, as well as FF11Online for PC.
So through my history with these games, you can see I don't make this comment out of a love for flashy graphics or cool CGI cut-scenes. I've been playing FF since 1988 when I was 11 years old. I'm in it for the long haul. In my opinion, Final Fantasy 2US (4JAP) was the single best game of all time for one simple reason. The story. God knows the graphics were great for their time. They were top of the line SNES, but the story was the best of any FF game ever. Better than 6,7,8,9,or even (dare I say it?!?!?!) 10. Nobuo Uematsu is one of the best composers on the face of the Earth, and his compelling music, along with the story of Cecil's personal journey to overcome his past and find love with Rosa, along with the incredible task of saving the planet makes this game an all time great in my book.

LOL.
Well, 2 was good, but I never finished it, kinda hated how I couldn't change my party before the end. And to be honest, with the story, I don't really remember, its been ages since I played it, but, I do own it again, I think. Yeah, its on the Chronicles disk with Trigger, right?
Haven't played X yet, hated 9. 8 and 7 were great. FF is certainly one of the best RPG series of all time, but as I got older, just don't have the time to spend 80 hours going through a game anymore. Sadly.

7 was the last one I ever played.
I remember building areal(the woman) up so much and got so pissed when Sephoroth killed her, god I lost my best character.
It took me a long time to finally achieve it, but the ending to 7 was well worth the time it took to beat the game.
Those are the types of games that I like the most. The time consumning games.

Heck, with all the in-depth building you can do in the football games now, they have become time consuming. An since I am such a huge football fan, it works great for me.

I have yet to find a great PC version of a football or baseball game yet.
Some are good enough, but not good enough to make me want to play an entire baseball season with them though.
I outgrew console games and stick to PC games, and even the kids have given up the PS2 for the PC games.

Speaking of how in depth sports games have become, I have a friend at work who plays the new Madden football game all the time. He keeps telling me how in franchise mode he can buy or sell stadiums, trade or fire or hire players, install cup holders into all the seats, have a fan appreciation day, give away free jerseys, lower or raise ticket prices, etc., etc..
I'm not a huge sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm almost tempted to buy the game just for the "Sim-Football Stadium" aspect of it. Instead of being the Mayor of a Sim-City, you could be the owner of a "Sim-Stadium." Sounds pretty cool now that I seriously think about it.
