Not necessarily favorite fight scene, but favorite scene overall.
I have a few actually, and cannot pick just one.
I really loved the beginning after the intro, the camera panned on that large Star Destroyer type ship with Anakin and Obi-Wan flying by. They played military type drum beats, and all seemed calm. Then ext thing we know we follow the two ships over the large ship and there is a huge space battle revealed.
I also loved the whole "Execute order 66" sequence, when the Clone Troopers turns on the Jedi. That was about the point the film took it's turn for the dark side.
The very end of the movie, with Owen and Beru holding Luke, standing there in front of the Tatooine twin sunset with that music from Episode IV played was perfect. It was just like Luke standing there 28 years ago.
Actually, when I think of it, there are just so many, not to mention all of the Anakin ones...

For me, the most poignant moment was when Yoda dropped down into the speeder piloted by Bail Organa.
"Go into exile, I must. Failed, I have."
That to me was the moment everything was brought full circle. It also helped, I think, to answer a question I'd long had...why did Yoda and Obi-Wan send Luke instead of just teaming up and kicking Imperial tail.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean by that, Ar'Tak. Indeed that was the the final fall of the Jedi, which lead way to the new dark age of the Empire, and the Sith.

Well, the most emotional part of the movie was Executive Order 66 (I see Lucas couldn't think of a more original number). The tone of voice Mcdiarmid used (again), the music, the lighting, the weather, and most of all the looks on the jedis' faces when they looked back at their bodyguards and saw the clones pointing their guns at them. So depressing.

It was depressing indeed. I loved that sequence. You are right, the music added so much to it, as well as the bad. dark weather of each of the different worlds. Even though I am the kind of guy to root for the Empire, I felt so sorry for those Jedi.

My favorite scene in the film was the Yoda/Palpatine duel. I loved seeing Yoda in action and wanted to see Palpatine fight with a lightsaber against someone that could give him a run for his money. That made the movie for me.

My favorite scenes were the space battle in the beginning, I'm a space battle junkie Also, the entire section from when they try to arrest Palpatine, and Anakin walks in and helps kill Mace, and becomes Vader, and then all of the Order 66 and Vader killing the youngling- all of that was so intense, depressing, emotional, and dark, etc. Really, everything from that arresting scene onwards I just LOVED ;D

Another scene that I don't think has been talked about at all on this board was when we got to see what's inside Vader's mask. Pretty cool stuff.

Yes, it really explained what Vader meant in RotJ when he looks up at Luke at the end and tells him "take this mask off so I may look upon you with my own eyes."

my favorite scene for it's raw intensity is the silent conversation between padme and anakin when they stare at eachother across coruscant. this was the best dialog i think lucas wrote between the two.

I think one of my favorite scenes just because its funny is after they land on the battlecruiser at the beginning....when R2 keeps getting his ass kicked by all the other droids who keep coming in to the hangar. or earlier when Obi wan is talking to him on the communicator and its so freaking loud that R2 tries to quiet it by placing it in him...lol

I really liked it. But it wasn't as funny as when he shot the droid with the taser gun and then the droid kicked him to the ground. Overall, this was the funniest of all six films.

I think there was a little joke about R2 being a bit "off" because of Anakin as well....I think when the ray shield comes up and Anakin talks about R2 will be coming to save them i think Obi-Wan makes a comment about R2 being wired wrong because Anakin is like shut up.....i did not wire him wrong....something along those lines...

I liked when General Grevious pulled out 4 lightsabers. That was pretty awesome.
