I saw something on the web last night about Atlantis action figures being in the works. Were there SG1 action figures? I think there were some for the original movie.

Wow, I had no idea. I don't know if there had ever been any action figures. Sometimes while at Wal-Mart when my kid is looking at girly toys, I stroll over to the action figure section to see what all is out now, and what they are doing with Star Wars toys, but I don't recall ever seeing any Stargate figures.

No, there has not yet been any action figures based on SG-1. There were some for the movie, but they were pretty generic. Nothing special. And take a look at the picture of Daniel on the package: LOL Sold with the figures were a couple of vehicles. A death glider and some vehicle that I am sure wasn't in the movie.

Further up on the wall in an original Bobba Fett and an Imperial At-At. No Trek or StarGate guardians.

I never knew the O'Neil in the movie was a "one L" O'Neil. I guess that's one reason why O'Neill makes such a big deal about "two L's". I wonder if the change from the movie to the series was intentional? I'll have go google diving and see if I can find out! Ok, who else has desk guardians? I bet Myke and I aren't the only ones with action figures protecting our computers!

I'll have to dig out my digital came and post a pic of my guardians, but need to clean my desk first, I'm such a slob.

I have the Skaara figure and one other one - I think it's the Daniel Jackson one, (they're packed away and I can't remember, for sure). I can. however, remember that I'd bought them on "Clearance" sale - about two bucks (US) apeice. I have boxes full of ''action figures" - (a.k.a. boy dolls - hehe). I'd say that the most interesting one that I have might be the Star Trek:TNG Geordi LaForge with the removable visor. But my favorites are from Spawn. More than you need to know? Probably so.

I have Simba and Mufasa, Robie the Banker, Scaly (a lizard beanie-baby), and Billy the Blue Power Ranger (LOL). On the left I have an army of Gi-Joe action figures, and on the right, and army of chess pieces. That should be plenty of guardians for my desk. Hehehe.
