Am I the only one that doesn't want to go travelling off into outer space? The very thought terrifies the hell outta me. Perhaps if I could be 100% guaranteed nothing would go wrong, Id get back safely, then I might be persuaded, but otherwise, no. Ill stay down here, work with the ground teams and look at the photos and stuff sent back instead

I wouldn't like to go to the moon. Why the moon? It's barren lifeless and it would feel really scary when you see how far away Earth is. What can be done on the moon that is interesting. It's not like its a planet similar to Earth that has life on.
I'm quite happy staying on Earth. I hate travelling in a plane so a shuttle is a big no.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcBV-cXVWFwEver heard of the hubble scope? I want to go where it is pointed to. The above URL is a video, that includes the picture the hubble took. It shows loads of galaxies where aliens probably exist. I want to break to laws of physics, and be able to travel at the speed of light and stop myself in space. I want to be able to live without oxygen, food, and all essentials. I want to see what the hubble scope pointed to. It will literally be amazing! The moon? Sure why not!

Even at the speed of light, it would take hundreds of thousands of years, if not millions of of years to reach other galaxies. Keep in mind the known universe is something like 30 billion light years wide, so at the speed of light it would take 30 billion years to reach the end of known space. Even in Star Trek where they can travel hundreds of times faster then the speed of light, they still have only been able to explore about a quarter of our galaxy. Space is just enormous beyond words. Those are also beautiful images. The Hubble Telescope is amazing, and I also happen to be a big Carl Sagan fan.
