Are you saying that if I use another browser then I will not see the advertisments? I also dont see the pop ups, my pop up killer stops them before they can pop up, and plays a sound. But i'm really confused as to what you are trying to tell me. Note: Ignore the last edit by xkamelxi n your post, I accidently hit 'modify' then started typing when I meant to hit quote.

I've created a website, with the help of others..., for a science project. The project was to teach the class for an hour. Well, here is the website, its not much, but it exceded my expectations... home.ripway.com/2004-11/206135 note: I know there are too many cursor trails...

So far you are to a point that alot of people will never reach. I'm confused also... *shrugs* Me too now, so I guess nevermind, lol. ;D

Yea, the only thing that is really missing about the form is actually saving the username and password to a database. Also i need to make it so the password, when being typed in, is bullets instead of text. Oh well...

I have just been to your new page... There was this big box with a warning and something about franchising business? Then it went... Not sure if the new page is finished but it doesn't look it. Are you still working on it, F15?

I've "changed" my forum, favorite15.proboards12.com, for the better. It still doesn't have great looks, but I've changed it to make a place where I could put the games I've made, or working on. There is still hope in the future for better improvements to the forum.

Study, my child, study. Took some of us years to get down the things we have done to our websites and forums, don't expect to pick it up all in a day or two. If you don't have the patience for it, don't make a board. Take your background, favorite, and center it and fix it. I'm not entirely sure what resolution you are aiming for with that image, but I'm sure it's not the way you intended it to come out. If you need the code, here it is... put it in your global headers.
body { background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; }
I also added in a part to keep it from repeating, because it's repeating off to the right, but I can't tell if that's because you haven't centered it, or if you targeted for an 800x600 resolution. Those buttons just aren't working...the text is hard to read. Damn proboards and its e-mail activation nonsense...

I just slapped together the buttons and I just realized my mistake on the background. Perhaps a tiled background would do the trick. btw... the background is centered, it is just HUGE.

it didnt work it just putted words at the top That's because it wasn't intended for your forum...I know Favorite is familiar with CSS, and knew how to apply it. This thread is not about your board, it's about his. To apply the code to your forum, here is the full code you would need. <style type="text/css"> body { background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; } </style>
some people prefer this method: <style type="text/css"> <!-- body { background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; } --> </style>
However, that is currently redundant, as less than 0.5% of the internet community uses browsers that don't understand CSS. Please don't hijack Favorite's thread anymore.

Familiar yes, but I am not that smart on applying. I do speculate to use the body { background-attachment: fixed; background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; }
I would create a CSS file and "link" to it in the global header...
