Myke,
I'm very impressed with your work on version 4. I feel that the whole forum matches itself together far more. The look of the board is definately more proffessional. The smileys, ubbc icons and colours all match eachother almost perfectly. I haven't had time to check each of the individual board banners yet, but I will eventually. From what I have seen so far, the homepage banner is exceptional, despite the fact that its a far cry from version 3's banner, which I loved.
The menu icons at the top have improved massively. However, the same problem remains in terms of a gap inbetween the members and profile button. I know you would prefer to have the calendar button removed, but in my opinion it makes the menu bar look a bit odd, and I think having the calendar button (even if it was a usuless function) would improve the look of the menu bar.
In addition, I haven't had time to check any of the new profile feature, but overall I'm very impressed with the look of the new version. Once I discover more, I will give you fresh feedback.

Val, You were right. My CSS codes were off. I edited them a bit, does the background fit better now? Sorry, I didn´t explain myself very well about the background... LOL I meant that you could see that the background was tiled, or at least, it looked that way - that´s what I meant with the line at the left and right-hand side. And well... now when I have my window open half, it looks perfect. However, when I open the window all the way - I see the sky at the left and almost covering all the page but the right space next to the page and about half an inch of the page is just a dark mass - without the stars and such. But as you know, I have a widescreen monitor and that´s probably why that is. When I have the window only open halfway, it looks great on either side. And as I said, those lines (tiled view) are gone now. ;D

I see what you mean by the Calendar button. I have never really noticed it because I have an 'admin' button, so that equals the amount of buttons out on each side of the extra pixel of space. I think I may go ahead and throw a calendar button up there, even though it is a useless function, lol. Heck yeah... Myke I love the new version.. it looks cool as Hell... Congrats on yet another cool change..lol. I'm glad you like it Jewells! Sorry, I didn´t explain myself very well about the background... The plus side is I think one image looks nice, the down side is it takes a little while to load.

I am considering an option to have a drop down menu on the left side of the post screen to include some extra smilies, speacilzed ones like welcome smilies, and things of that nature.

Myke, for me the scroll bar colours are too much the same. I mean, I can see the difference but the top part needs to stand out more so that I don´t have to look for it...

I'll look into the scroll bar Val, and thank you Ember, I'm happy you like it! On a side note, I have temporalrily fixed the cell highlight problem, so that aweful brown dosent appear before the highlight kicks in. When PBv4 comes out, we will loose our cell highlight for a short while, but should have an improved version shortly after!

Val,
On the main page, is the scroll bar easier to see?

Val, On the main page, is the scroll bar easier to see? No... looks the same to me. And I am really struggling to find where the part is with which I am scrolling.
