Short Intro to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
The war against Voldemort is not going well; even Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses.
And yet . . .
As in all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate – and lose a few eyebrows in the process. The Weasley twins expand their business. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.
So it’s the home front that takes center stage in the multilayered sixth installment of the story of Harry Potter. Here at Hogwarts, Harry will search for the full and complex story of the boy who became Lord Voldemort – and thereby find what may be his only vulnerability.

Probably a little less than I expected, but then again it had a lot to live up to after OoTP, but still, HBP was just brilliant. A very captivating story, with once again plenty of mind-bending twists. Of course, i was upset that dumbledore was killed by snape, and that snape and malfoy got away. this one was great, because it had a different ending to all the other books, instead of a happy ending (except mabye OoTP), a sad ending. still, it was a blast for every moment i was reading it.

I read HBP twice in a row, you know, read it once, then read it again, but that's something I don't usually do. After reading the newest book, I start from the beginning and go through again. The saddest part was when Dumbledor was murdered by Snape.
