Ill be there!! Dont know if Ill do the midnight queue like some do, though if Im able to meet up with a couple of friends that have done it on previous years (and had great fun dressing up too) I might. Otherwise it will be within the next day or two that I will buy it.

Just a week after the movie comes out? Holy cow, that's going to be a crazy week. The world may very well explode.
But seriously, Warner Brothers has to be going crazy over this, right?

I have pre-ordered my HP: Deathly Hallows book from an internet web site. I can't wait to read the book. I'm just wonder if Harry dies or not.

I have absolutely no idea if Harry dies or not, but to me, it seems like he would. His death would be the final ingredient to the whole cursed hero thing. Harry was born soon before Lord Voldemort killed his parents. He grows up in a miserable home and goes to Hogwarts to discover he is famous for surviving Voldemort's attack, kind of an uncomfortable celebrity, and then discovers the evil and powerful Lord Voldemort wants to kill him. He becomes the hero, but all the while has more on his plate then any other Hogwarts student, is in perpetual danger of Lord Voldemort, etc. I have no idea what will be in the new book, but it would seem to me that Harry and Voldemort will have some epic battle, with the end seeing Harry Potter sacrificing himself to kill Voldemort in order to save his friends and every one else. Harry dies to complete the story of the cursed hero, while Hermione and Ron live happily ever after and naming their son Harry, after their friend and hero. That's just my guess.

I like your hypothesis on how book 7 will end. I do have a feeling that Harry will probably have to be a martyr to save the rest of the wizarding/muggle world.

It's going to be 784 pages, making it the second longest book in the series behind Order of the Phoenix.

Since there's a true HP madness around these days, why not give my two pence? I haven't bought the book, HP is not my type, and as far as the story is concerned I'm only familiar with the first two movies. Just for the sake of all the rumors I couldn't resist not to read the wikipedia plot details and: I don't know, I think it would have been a better ending if HP died in the end. HP wasn't really, in my view, one of those stories that demand a happy ending.
