I know we are always discussing TV and movies in here, but have any of you read any of the Star Trek Books? I just finished reading an "Enterprise" novel called "The Good That Men Do."
It picks up at the end of the show when Trip "dies." Actually, Trip didn't die at all. He was recruited by Section 31. The book was an easy and fast read. I think I read it in 2 nights. It also gave a little bit of closure to Enterprise's sudden cancellation, not to mention Trip and T'Pol have another encounter. It made things make sense in the end, whereas the final episode was too abrupt. I recommend checking it out. It's well worth it if you're an Enterprise fan.

OK, sounds interesting for sure. I just have one question. Enterprise was out in space farther than anyone else. How did Section 31 grab him? Was it a time line thing? It does sound interesting though
To answer the question, I've only read one Star TRek book. It was a TOS book and I don't remember the title. Fire in The Sky or something similar. Great read! I just don't remember the title

No time line thing. It happened on their voyage back to Earth for the "Founding of the Federation" ceremony. It' been awhile since I read the book, but from what I remember, Malcolm Reed's contact in Section 31 contacted Trip and let him in on some sensitive information. After weighing the options, Trip decided he could do more good for the Federation by going under cover. Thus, they arranged his "death." T'Pol was pretty upset, as I recall.
