Well, I played a bit of Star Trek: Legacy for the Xbox 360 the other day and I have to say I am impressed and quite happy with the overall product.
The gameplay and controls are not too complicated and could be learned quite well within a matter of an hour or 2 with the help of the occasional pause button when you forget what button does what. The control of the other ships in your fleet is not quite as buggy as what I have heard others say on the official forums. It is best to control your ships from the command screen which basically looks like a grid map and issuing orders to the fleet works pretty well though I do wish they had a way to target a specific object instead of just firing at will or attacking the nearest object and I wish they had a "form on my ship" command or something to get everyone to follow you more easily but these are minor issues that do not affect the gameplay. The flying could be a little better as in you can only tilt your ship up or down to a certain degree and you do not have complete 360 degree movement available but what they do have works quite well though at times in combat you wish you could move in loops or similar ways.
The graphics are amazing and make you feel like you really are in command of a starship or maybe even watching a show on TV instead. The voice acting seems to be done well though others have complained the voice acting seems pretty flat and uninspired. I am still playing in the Enterprise era so I have only heard Archer's voice so far but it seems to be pretty accurate with that of the show really, enough emotion to make it believable IMO.
Overall the game is just great especially for a Star Trek fan and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good space combat game which uses big ships instead of little fighters.
