Obviously Trek 11 has yet to be made, but out of the choices listed, which Trek movie was your favorite, and please explain your answer.

"Blow up the damn ship Jean-Luc!!" "NOoooooooo!!!!"
The Wrath of Khan will always be my favourite. A great idea returning to an old story, great music/soundtrack with a shock end ["My God Bones, what have i done?" - ST: TSFS]. Plus we had Spock's demise and bravery, scotty's loss, Khan's revenge. Just such a great film - it's the classic!

My favourite Star Trek movie is Nemesis. The Romulans an awesome enemy and worst your battling against yourself who wants to destroy humanity! It nicely brought the Next Generation crew to a close and for almost everyone to move onto new assignments. I'm glad Worf and Geordie have stayed with Jean-Luc though.
It's a great movie with a great space battle in the film. Torpedoes and phaser firing everywhere along with the other two romulan ships was great to watch.
The worst part of the film has got to be when Data died. In the conference room when Riker mentioned the first time he saw Data, I remember the first time we saw Data. I'm pretty sure the tune he could never get right was Pop Goes the Weasel.
I wouldn't say any Trek film was bad. Even generations which I thought was the worst Trek film was alright.

I have to go for 'The Undiscovered Country'. It closes the TOS era nicely and there's just something I find appealing about Klingons quoting Shakespeare.

Wrath of Khan I guess though IV:The Voyage Home is right up there as well. I loved the comedy aspect of them going back in time and being fish out of water, Spock cursing and so on. My official vote is Wrath but I think Voyage Home is just as good.

In looking at them, the even numbered films are the best in my opinion, especially seeing how I rank them all: 1.) | ST VI: The Undiscovered Country | (5 Stars) | 2.) | ST IV: The Voyage Home | (5 Stars) | 3.) | ST VIII: First Contact | (5 Stars) | 4.) | ST II: The Wrath of Khan | (5 Stars) | 5.) | ST VII: Generations | (4 Stars) | 6.) | ST III: The Search for Spock | (4 Stars) | 7.) | ST X: Nemesis | (4 Stars) | 8.) | ST IX: Insurrection | (3 Stars) | 9.) | ST: The Motion Picture | (3 Stars) | 10.) | ST V: The Final Frontier | (2 Stars) |
That last one comes as little surprise though.

I'd say I like First Contact the most. Seeing as I love the Borg, don't ask why because I don't really know , and time travel and I get both in one movie. Also liked the little info into the developer of warp drive and the foundation that eventually became the Federation. The others go as followed: 2. The Undiscovered Country 3. Insurrection 4. The Voyage Home 5. Nemesis 6. The Wrath of Khan 7. The Search for Spock 8. Generations 9. The Final Frontier 10. The Motion Picture

First Contact. Jean Luc was great, all his pent up anger and need for revenge against the borg, he was willing to fight to the death, even bring down his friends to do so. The intensity of the film was great.
With the original series I'd have to say Undiscovered Country, I liked seeing the beginnings of a friendship between the Klingons and the Federation. I thought it was a unique ending to it and because it was the last time the entire crew of the original series was together on film.

The Borg are my favorite villains so I must choose First contact. I liked the good storyline and how chaotic it got with the Borg on board. I liked the special effects during the battle in the beginning and liked them throughout. I think that Nemesis was also really well done but just didn't make it to spot 1 for me.

Nemesis was okay but with Data being killed off and the voice of the actor playing the "Clone" annoying me i feel it was just okay.
When i was a kid, The Motion Picture was the worst film but after my 20's I saw it a few times again and really began to appreciate and understand it, and it's running time something also a factor as a kid.

Whatever the plot of any new Star Trek movie it should really be a trek a voyage of discovery - not revenge and occupation. The running theme of Nemesis, Insurrection has been that. - surely there are worlds to be discovered, new civilisations to be found. The Enterprise instead of acting like a ship battleship.Star Trek the Movie was about finding an object which had come back to Earth. Star Trek movies should be about that. The STNG did not any element of discovery - it was a soap opera within the star ship. Voyager had no choice had but to find new worlds etc. which is what Star Trek is all about. But that up to the imagination of the people who will make these movies.

And now Star Trek has run out of ideas for films so they're going back on the history bandwagon.

The Voyage Home has always been my favorite. I like the idea of the crew going back to our "modern day" world and dealing with how our culture is. Besides that, Search for Spock is another favorite featuring the TOS crew. From the TNG crew movies, Generations and First Contact are easy favorites.
I'm eagerly awaiting Star Trek XI to see how Abrams handles Star Trek.
