I watched this movie right after watching Dawn of the Dead. I thought that this was absolutely hilarious especaislly the part when the zombies are in his backyard.
Has anybody else watched this? What did you think?

Shaun of the Dead is a brilliant movie. Hilarious and ingenius. ;D
The part where they are in the bar hitting the owner zombie with poll sticks to the beat of that Queen song made me laugh, I didn't see that coming so it caught me off guard after I realized it was to the beat of the music. ;D

The Dart in the head was so funny. Then when at the very end he moves the PS2 into his backyard shed and tries to play Time Splitters 2 with his friend... I loved that movie and I like the resolution better than in Dawn of the Dead. (When all of the soldiers come and kill all of the zombies.)

I think its funny when they try to hit the zombies in the backyard with record disks...i wasn't expecting the girl to fall into the pole.

I think that it was at an excellent angle so that you can see his face directly through the hole made by the pole.

I think this film is OK. Its not a film that i would watch over and over again. More like a one off film. I really liked the part where that zombie got stuck on the tree with a stick. Then they all had to try copy the zombies actions to look dead. Another funny part is when Shaun decides to go to the Pub of all places.

Yes, this film is actually hilarious. The humour works on so many different levels; I personally love it because it references the comedy series 'Spaced' so many times (Spaced is a comedy with basically the same cast as Shaun of The Dead, with one or two changes).
If you liked this, I'd recommend the aforementioned Spaced as well as Shaun of The Dead's spiritual sequel, Hot Fuzz which again stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with Edgar Wright directing. This one is a spoof of crime fighting films as apposed to zombie films in SoTD.

LOve this movie, have it on DVD too. I love the part where they are trying to get into the pub and the guy's cell phone rings and he answers it and starts talking and when Shaun finally smacks him he is just like "what?" They have a new movie coming out soon called Hot Fuzz.....seen the previews yet? It looks awesome.
