www.imdb.com/title/tt0457297/I had no idea there was a part two until I saw the commercial for the DVD tonight on TV. Is this a straight to video movie? I really liked the original Butterfly Effect. If this one is half as good as the first, I'll enjoy it.

Oh, I finally saw this by the way. It was okay I guess, but was NO WHERE NEAR as good as the original.

The Butterfly Effect is a film that I have been wanting to see for a long time. I stupidly rented out three films when I didn't really have the time to watch all of them, and The Butterfly Effect was one of the ones I had to take back unwatched.
The problem is, there are too many films to watch! And so little time to watch them in.

I highly recommend part one. It was really a good movie, very entertaining and intelligent. By that I mean it doesn't insult our intelligence.
Part two was lackluster at best. Granted it did try to be different from the original, it's still apparent that it is a straight to video movie when watching it. It just didn't have any of the aspects that made part one so good, and that made part one such a cult hit.
