I have been eagerly awaiting this movie to come out since I heard about it and from what I have seen on the trailers it looks AWESOME! They have a new trailer for it out right now and while they still only show glimpses of the robots themselves what they show looks great. Here is a link so you can check it out movies.yahoo.com/feature/transformers_hd.htmlThis will be one to add to my Transformers: The Movie DVD and maybe one day I could actually afford to buy the original series on DVD as well ;D

JULY?? I just hope they put out some more trailers before then, with the actual T voices. I wasn't expecting it to look that good but it does! And I like how it comes out on Independence Day. Two thumbs up so far.

Yea, the robots look really good, of course you don't get a good look at Optimus Prime or anyone really yet, you catch a brief glimpse of Bumblebee's face but that's about it. I can't wait to see some more trailers and I am hoping that they stick with a lot of the old familiar faces with this movie. Looking at IMDB I see they have changed the names of some of the characters as I don't see a Spike, it looks like his name is Sam instead. I see Megatron as a character, I am wondering how many of the other familiar faces we will see. Will there be a Starscream, Jazz, Shockwave, and so on? I doubt we will see some of the other characters unless they do sequels like the Dinobots, Devastator, Insecticons, and so on. It seems like they are really focusing this on being more of a war movie though I would like to see them actually work on some character development too, I hope the robots have personalities because they all had very unique different personalities in the TV series. They have so much potential to do a whole series of these movies if they don't screw it up, so I am crossing my fingers that it just doesn't end up being a shoot em up movie.
