It's been a while since I have seen this one but this one was really great. it also seems to be one of the more common ones that everyone has seen. The artwork is amazing....I know they even made a second movie out of this, which I haven't seen. The biggest thing I remember is he had this funky thing on his hand...it was like a mouth or something....maybe a demon? I forget exactly what it was and if I remember right I think he was also half vampire himself or something like that. anyways it was a pretty good movie and although I never saw the second one I heard it was good. maybe I will have to go hunt this down on dvd now.

I have the DVD... as you said, great artwork. It looks so real, it´s almost spooky. Here is a bio of "D": Regarded as the greatest vampire hunter in the world. Also a very beautiful man and a dhampir (half-human,half-vampire). D has all the powers of a vampire but few of their weaknesses. Usually very stoic his vampiric side sometimes surfaces uncontrollably. Being neither human nor vampire D has lived a very lonely, nomadic life. His weapon of choice is a long curved thin bladed sword. He wears a blue pendant that can nuetralize nearly any weapon. His left hand is cursed and possessed by a demon which has powers independent of D's own.

Vampire Hunter "D" was a great anime series. Unfortunately, I haven't seen enough of it to comment. I only know what I've seen in clips and the 1 single episode I've seen. Once I know more (which may be a minute) I will post an update, because I've seen a ton of great clips......only one entire episode I'm afraid.
I'm still trying to get you guys an update on the anime I've listed, and as soon as I have time, I will! I swear! I have been too busy at work lately!
Till then, Peace! My Anime Brothas!!!! lol

Their is no series just two movies. The first movie is way better than Bloodlust.

The first movie is way better than Bloodlust. cool...I didn;t think there was a series or anything...at least i had never heard of one. and The first movie is definitely awesome...I would still like to see the second one just to compare it to the first one....to see how they did with it.
