How come there are no countries and seperate languages on the planets visited by the Enterprise. Why are Klingons just Klingons and they have only one language? Why cannot the Klingon homeworld have several countries on it with the Klingon race have a variety of languages and different cultures etc.. The same can be asked about the Vulcans and the Andorrians? There are so many countries on Earth, supposing aliens really visited our world which language would they speak?

I believe that the "why" for no separate languages is "Universal Translator"....there may be different languages, but the ubiquitous universal translator spans the language gaps. There have been episodes in all the series that pointed up regional differences, including strife, on various planets.
The Klingon homeworld had allegiances to families and clans, and and cross-allegiances between families and clans. It was essentially a huge feudal society. At the end of DS9, a new form of government and society, a meritocracy of sorts, was emerging. What that might mean for the old way is hard to say. But I'd love to see a series in the future explore it.
The Andorians were almost an ST footnote before Enterprise. We learned that there were two distinct races of Andorians with two very different cultures.
Bajor was a patchwork quilt of districts, with a good deal of jockeying and infighting.
Certainly regional differences could have been made more of a story line in any of the Star Trek series. But so could any number of social, psychological, cultural, and political themes. In the end, it's a 45 minute a week series. Unless multi-week story arcs are the norm (a la DS9) there simply isn't time to explore the details of such themes.

It's hard for me to choose between LOTR, Star Wars, and Alien but I had to vote for Lord of the Rings. I've certainly watched it the most. lol

My dad loves Star Trek, but I love the original Star Wars. It had a lot of action and a great story. Along with that story, I enjoyed the characters and it was an amazing ending as well.
