I am a huge Lord of the Rings Fan. I got into the trilogy when the movies hit and later started to read the books, I am still half way into The Two Towers which I hope to finished someday.

I've read the trilogy at least a dozen times. Despite knowing the trilogy quite well, I was comfortable with the liberty taken here and there in the films. The only changes I really had trouble with were the characters of Aragorn and Faramir.
I have read and enjoyed "Science Fiction by Gas Light", edited by Isaac Asimov. There's something uniquely poignant and hopeful about pre golden age SF.

I have never heard of "Science Fiction by Gas Light." I'm not suprised either, I don't read books that much. Infact I read only If I have to for school.
I have 47 different music CDs right now, about 35 of them are burned from friends CDs and such. I listen mainly to Rock / Punk and Hate country / Pop music.

I have already put "War of the Worlds" by Alan Parson's Project on my birthday list. I can't BELIEVE I gave up on finding this album new or used BEFORE ebay and amazon.com came on the scene.

When I was little I can remember really liking the film of War of the Worlds. I tried to watch it the other day though and got distracted and went and did something else. Cant wait until the remake comes out in, I think, 2006.
I dont actually have an obsession with squirrels, I always thought they were cute, the way their tail bounces as they run, but never obsessed over them. Yet somehow, since I have been here it seems I have actually turned into a tyrannical squirrel with a serious inferiority complex. I would love to know quite how it happened because I sure as hell cant work it out. My favourite animals are in fact wolves, giraffes and crocodiles, and all my friends tell me that if I were an animal I would in fact be one of those evil white persians like in the James Bond movie lol.
