As it says in the title. Currently, I'm in the middle of taking my GCSE exams, and boy are they EASY! That's not a complaint mind you, for example, this morning I had my second maths paper and I want to say: quadratic equations, a breeze. Is is strange to find things so mind boggingly difficult as exams, ridiculously easy, or is it that things have gotten easier and that I'm living in the wrong time period?

How dare you use the words easy and exams so close to each other? Sometimes there are exams which I expected to e really difficult which turn out easy and I realize I was wrong in being worried so much about them. But others are just plain impossible. Right now I still have a headache over last night's exam and I'm not sure if I stand a chance at passing it so...

Sometimes it all depends on who makes the exams, which subject they are for and how much material they cover and what kind of questions are on the exams.

In the UK today school's dont teach a subject to its full they just teach what a kid needs to know in order to pass the exam for that subject. My son is doing his GCSE's and my daughter is doing her A levels and both have complained of this fact. What do you think Doc??

I think it all depends how much you take in and learn in all honesty. I'm well past exam age thankfully, very long ago in the past, but that's my outlook. I still don't why in the UK they have A*'s now.

That happens over here as well for our MEAP tests and other similar tests.

Sometimes exams are too easy. But it depends on the subjects and what the persons strengths and weaknesses are. A subject I found really difficult when I did my GCSE's was English. It was incredibly boring and writing pages and pages about a poem is in my opinion pointless.
I just did an A-Level Business paper this morning and it was quite difficult.

My subjects: Science Maths English History French R.S. ICT Welsh
Even though I find Welsh a struggle, I still get through the paper very quickly, and that's my worst subject.

I was only bought up in Wales and the school I go to is an English Medium Comprehensive. In fact, I don't even want to learn Welsh, but that's life.

Personally I've just given up on learning it, even though my last exam (this Monday) is a Welsh exam. I just can't be bothered any more.
