Now that Fidel Castro is away from his duties and his brother Raul in charge, what do you think will happen to Cuba? Will the government of Castro flee, will the US lead a invasion or will Castro and his communist government lead on? I believe that Castro's government may survive as it's survived US sanctions since 1961, I think it could survive quite long. Also why should the Cuban people be wanting Democracy when they love Castro and Communism!

The people love Castro? Surely, that must be sarcasm.

Doc is right. They do love him. Probably brainwashed but they do like him.
As for what will happen... I doubt there will be any difference until Fidel actually dies, and even then, I doubt the rest of the world will see a significant change.

They used to like him...back in the sixties. Now only the rich people like him. There's a reason why so many people are putting their lives on the line to get out of that place. They see what he's done tot he economy. They see how crappy he's treated the middle and lower classes. They're not stupid.

Actually, the Cubans liking Castro is still the present tense, only recently (2006 I think), I've seen the news and there are people out on the streets in support of him. And do you actually have any evidence for that comment of yours there?

Which comment? That he ruined the economy or that many Cubans are risking their lives to get to Florida?
You see the news. Sorry if I don't trust television. I've heard personal accounts from people I know who have gone there. It's not good.

I'll see if I can dig up a link shall I?

I dunno.. I just put in Castro along with Kim Jong Il... the people in North Korea are also so brainwashed that they think their government is actually helping the little people.

Nobody knows what the North Koreans think because there's no interaction with them. The only thing we see is an occasional public appearance form him, and you know they stage that perfectly.
