Anyone play any? I'm a huge DnD nut as well as Heroclix (a miniatures game featuring the DC and Marvel superheroes). I don't get as much time to play anymore with work and a family but I am an avid tabletop gamer. I've been playing them for about 10 years. I've played Magic:The Gathering, Vampire, Shadowrun, TMNT (yeah CW ), Middle-Earth: TCG, DnD, Warhammer 40k and Epic, and a variety of others.

Unfortunatly, I never had the friends of those intrests to play alot of them. I used to play D&D alot when I was younger, I had a friend who was a dungeon master and had thousands of dollars invested in the game. Also another friend I grew up with is an avid player of Vampires, but alas he and I dont really talk much anymore.
So for the most part, I've been alone in my intrests, which is maybe what drove me to create a Sci-Fi message board, to have a place to express and share with others my intrests.

lol where do I start, My good friend, Bret, got started playing D&D back in High School. We played ay school in one of the classrooms of a REALLY great teacher. Back then I was the only girl in the group and Bret was the DM. My how the years have changed things..lol. Now I am the DM of a massive Athas game. the characters have adventured and built up there money and have started a small kingdom out in an unclaimed area and the call it the Emerald Cresnt because the mounatins kinda curve around it, and its the only stretch of green for miles in the desert world.
I also GM a crossover game of Call of Cthulhu/Marrow Project. Basicaly what its about is teams are put into Cryogenic Stasis and left frozen for the nuclear war. They are supposed to thaw 20-35 years after the bombs go off and then rebuild America and other countries, but they wake up later than expected..lol. I ran this game for 2 years before we started playing that Athas game and have started playing This one again when enough of us can get together. This is a FUN game. because after the war you have to deal with so much stuff anyway plus you have the added fun of dealing with the supernatural of the Cthulhu mythos aswell..lol. Whch can drive you insane and add soooo many thing sto the game ..lol. Its based on the skills/d100 system and is simple to learn and a lot of fun.
I also took over the ROBOTECH game that my friend John started a few monthes back and have been doing that on the side when ever the group feels like a break from Athas. Infact the character that I am playing in the ROBOTECH RPG on here is my char from that game.
OK..you got me started and I [i[HAVE[/i] to stop somewhere so I'll just stop here .. lol.

The Disney version is cute because the pieces are Disney characters like Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, ect. And the places around the board are the places in Disney World. ;D

I look back now on my highschool years...I know I am not that old, only 21, but during highschool I used to go to a friends house almost every weekend pus tuesdays to play tabletop D&D in school I found two guys that played it while skipping classes, so I played with them during lunch...before school...during my spares. Then I played Magic with my brother and his friends, then i got into V:TM and just before I moved here to the UK one of my friends from uhhh...college told me he rp's TT and I joined in on his games too Vampire the Requium! (i don't know if that's spelled correctly) infact, back in Canada I have all the V:TM clan books...the changeling books (most of em..nobles, trolls, core book, st book, knockers, and can't think of the other one) plus I have the book 'playing in the yeti (or somethig of that nature) warewolf, mage, V:tr...wraith the oblivian...I'm a geek ;_;

Yeah, I played Warhammer (both 40K and Fantasy) quite regularily, oh.. about 2 or 3 years ago. I stil have everything, although it's been gathering dust a couple of boxes in my room the last few years!! I used to love playing it, but the group we had was only 3 of us, and one guy moved away. Battle's get a bit boring when you have no variety!!
As for D&D, I've only ever had the chance to play it once, which is disappionting, not to mention that No-one was playing it properly due to copious consumption of alcohol, but I would like to try it again.
