I heard that a game called Star Trek Legacy was coming out soon. I looked it up on google and it said that it was coming out this or next week. I look forward to seeing this game after watching some of the gameplay videos on youtube. The ratings are good and the graphics are also good. It looks like a game worth getting. I've heard its good but its not as good as it could of been. From the videos the interface doesn't look that good but the graphics look good. Its out now for PC not sure about the 360. I imagine it would be good in an online mulitplayer.

I got this game yesterday. I have to say it is entertaining but there are some things that I don't like . First you can't really issue fleet commands that well. Second there are some ships that are not in the game like the Prometheus class ship. I also think that the sound of the phasers and the photon torpedoes aren't nailed down right.
The things that I like about it is that the borg are just as powerful as depicted in the movies. Once I played as a tactical cube and then I destroyed a federation fleet of 8 ships. Another good thing is that you can divert power to any ship system: the hull, weapons shields, or engines.

I love this game. My personal favorite feature is the ability to pilot many classes of ships from the series. I think that the developers put too much power into the Federation ships, because I've flown a Klingon battleship that couldn't fire at it's flanks nor could it even get a good lock on a ship that was close enough to collide with. Besides that, the best ships to fly are the Defiant class and Intrepid class.

I don't know if the games are alike at all, but Star Trek Legacy reminds me of Star Trek Bridge Commander, which was a great game if you were into your crew management and fleet commands, etc.

Star Trek Legacy doesn't have crew management, but it works by fleet actions involving a maximum of 4 ships. I would have been really pleased if this game was more like Bridge Commander and both Legacy, but it isn't.
