I have Battlefield 1942 - great game. However, my PC was not designed to be a gaming machine, so it often lagged. I believe I have a substandard video card.
I was at a friends house talking about this, and he gave me these two games:
Cull of Duty 2 Battlefirled Vietnam
He said that those game should work on my PC despite the higher games lagging.
Can anyone with any experience enlighten me as to whether or not I should be able to play those games?

I probably couldn't help you, but it would make it easier for others to help if you listed your system specs.

Give us your system spec's. If you can't play Battlefield 1942 which is pretty old now... It's probably your Ram and Graphics card. I don't know how long your pc will last trying to open Battlefield 2 or 2142.

I've played Call of Duty 2 on my old computer. It wasn't a brillant computer but it played the game fine.
Posting your computer specifications would help everyone.
