Has anyone seen this game yet? The graphics on this are so incredible I have to say they are the best for the 360 that I have EVER seen. I know its a new game and they should be awesome, but to see them in 1080i on my big screen really makes me gaze in amazement.
If you haven't picked up this game and you like first person shooters, this game will make you drool over its playability and overall look. I am amazed and I have seen Halo 3 which looked pretty good too, but this looks MUCH better.

Alright this game has lots to it. When I first heard of it, it didn't really attract me to it. But finally some of my friends convinced me to buy the game and it was worth it. The graphics are great, the guns sound so awesome (especially the Desert Eagle) and the online play is AMAZING. I think this is the only game that can compete with Halo 3 for best online play. I must say it is quite addicting. Online you can customize your own classes, with primary and secondary weapon, putting your own attachments to your gun (red dot sight, silencer, ACOG scope), and choosing perks. You can even choose the camouflage on your gun! Anyways I recomend this game to anyone who likes First person shooters.

Call of Duty 4 is currently my favorite game. I absolutely love the online game play I'm only on my 3rd prestige, but should be a gold cross sometime this fall.
What are your guys' favorite class and weapons for multiplayer?
I find myself using the AK-47 with the red dot scoop alot.
In close quarters like 'Vacant' I use either the P90 with a silencer or the MP5 with a silencer.

Call of Duty 4 was my favourite game until the console damaged the disc. Unfortunatly I never had time to complete the actual storyline but enjoyed many hours of online play. Don't ask me which weapon I prefer because I honestly can't remember.

My COD 4 disc is perfectly fine, but my 360 died this past Friday, the red rings of death. I'm sending it to Microsoft tomorrow to get it either repaired or replaced. If you get another chance, you should get COD 4 again. The entire single player campaign is amazing as it the online multi-player.

I was contemplating getting COD4 not so long ago but was put off by some reviews that stated it was mainly aimed towards the multi-player community, which wasn't good taking into account that I do not have XBOX Live. Although they did say that the single player was good and certainly not average, it was just the way that 3/4 of the review was talking about how good the multi-player was, and shadowed out the single player. But reading what you've just put, Myke, I think I may go ahead and purchase it.

I'd love COD 4 even if there was no multi-player. The single player campaign has so many different elements to it, from the standard soldier in a large platoon fighting large battles, to being shot down in a chopper in a small group trying to reach an evac point without drawing too much attention, to rescue missions, to retrieving nuclear material, to operating a gunship shooting targets on the ground, and they even have one level that is a sniper level, where stealth and camouflage is everything.
I highly recommend it, it's so much fun!

Thanks for giving me more insight into the single player side of things, Myke. I think I'll pick it up next weekend from GAME, as I really enjoy FPS games, and this one sounds to be one of the best around.

I mean I really need a break. I have to balance 4 classes with all of the work done online. Someone suggested I burn my PhD in Procrastination, but I even procrastinated on that... Anyway... I will add you!

Cool, I'll be on there Thursday.
I don't really use too much of a variety of weapons. I have my AK-47 class that I use on most maps with stopping power, claymore x 2 and martyrdom.
When I'm high enough in rank, I use the MP44. A lot of people have a hard time with the MP44 since you cannot add any scopes or anything, but I still play a lot of COD 2 online and am usually German w/ the MP44, so I'm used to it and do real well with it on COD4.
I think I have a sniper class, but only really use it when I'm getting tore up by snipers, I'll use to it to counter snipe them.
For long range I prefer the M16 with the ACOG scope.
For small maps like Vacant, I'll use either an AK47 w/ silencer or a P90 with silencer. I'm always mixing my primary weapon for my silenced classes up, but always use UAV jammer and call it my "GHOST" class.
