Does it have anything to do with the fact that I use Firefox? I have High-SPeed, but I'm using the least expensive package from Rogers.

Never heard of Rogers, but firefox shouldn't be the problem unless your firewall blocks it... I redownloaded firefox onto my home computer so everyone could use it and my firewall blocks it. When ever I try and unblock it... the application freezes... waaaaaaaaaaa.
Sorry.

I've figured it out! I think . . . We use one of those signal splitters. This is the secondary terminal in which the signal is sent to. AM I right?

I use Firefox with no problems, a couple of firewalls also.
A signal splitter...I'm assuming you mean a router? Either way, unless the other computer is in use full time, shouldn't be an issue, and even then I don't think it would slow it down significantly. What kind of processor do you have?

All of those firewalls!!! o.O
I haven't any idea why firefox won't work anymore. I've redownloaded it a few times, but that hasn't helped any. Now it wont even open... I think I killed it.

Well, what exactly do you mean by full time? Like, always on? Yeah, we have four computers hooked up to Internet, and they basically run day and night.

If you need to re-install Firefox, you have to not only un-install it, but, also, hunt down anything it left behind on your HDD first. Otherwise, it has the same problems. But, be sure to copy "bookmarks.html" somewhere before you start so you don't lose your faves. It's also a good idea to back up that file, every now and then, because Firefox has been known to lose it. (It's in Documents and Settings > Application Data). If it weren't for Windows Update needing it, I wouldn't even have IE on my HDD. I haven't had 10% of the troubles I used to have since switching to Firefox, (pop-ups, browser hijacks, etc.).

I never use bookmarks... I'll check into files left behind...

It really takes that long for you guys to load the site? I have Comcast cable internet and I run Zone Alarm for my firewall, and the site loads in 3-5 seconds all the time.

I have comcast as well, but it takes longer for me since I have 5 other computers hooked up to one connection via wireless network. On one computer with no other connections on, I do average 3-5 sec with a cleared cache.

I used to have IE and AOL, it sucked. I swithed from AOL and got DSL, it was better, but AOL has good things and bad things. AOL is targeted more for viruses, but I get a color scroll bar. I switched to firefox and it loads a hell of a lot faster and has way more settings and has great add ons. I have something where I can turn an image into html instantly and change text to any color on vbulletin boards. It loads in about 9 seconds I would say. The bad thing about firefox is some stuff gets mixed up, like text will be on text and that's due to the ff browser I'm sure. It might have something to do with my screen resolution though, I can't switch it now, and I have been having a few personal hells with my pc. Somethings wrong with the sound card and I can't figure out how to switch the resolution, I don't even see an option to switch it anymore, it's sad. Besides that, everything's fine.
