I suggest you should put a saybox on the bottom. So members can say hi to each other and generally chat.

You might as well just make a thread that indicates members can say hi and have a general chit-chat in it. ;D

I don't think a post is worthy of saying hi.

I think a saybox would probably attract even more spammers, etc. I like the idea in general, though. To just chat with whoever happens to be online at the same time. Maybe it's something to give a trial sometime.

When I am searching a topic I find it, but the problem is 'search' does not tell me in which forum it is in.

Not everyone will go on the site to say "hi" to someone becuase not everyone visits the site. Also if the saybox is on the forum it is quick and noticible.

When I am searching a topic I find it, but the problem is 'search' does not tell me in which forum it is in. It isn't in a board, it's on our website: www.temporal-reality.com/home.htmlNot everyone will go on the site to say "hi" to someone becuase not everyone visits the site. Also if the saybox is on the forum it is quick and noticible. That's true, but it has always been my personal opinion that that is what message boards are for. There is no reason that someonce can't create a misc thread for anything, even to say hi. There are very few types of threads that are not allowed here. The way I see it, if someone is having fun, then let them have fun. ;D I have always thought Saybox's looked funny on Message board, and belonged more on websites, where visitors do not have a place to talk. On our forum, the entire place is one giant place to talk.

I have to agree.....a message board is a place to talk.....a saybox is redundant.....I have one on my website just like Myke but not on my forum....

If there is enough demand for one, you guys know you get what the majoirty wants ( ) I'll add an inlay Saybox to the top welcome table. By that I mean I'll add a link that when clicked on, a Saybox will open up in a pop up window. It would be seperate from the one on TR.com.

Sayboxes just don't belong on forums. A forum is a giant saybox, not something I would do. I would put one on my website though.
