For those living in the UK, you will (or not) be pleased to know that SKY Movies (if you have SKY) is showing all 6 Star Wars films (if you have SKY), starting today.
Tonight at 8pm the first film 'Star Wars: A New Hope' is going to be aired on Channels 301 and 307. ;D

Sounds pretty cool. I have never sat down and watched all 6 movies in a row, from start to finish, but plan to one day, starting with episode I and working my way up to Episode VI.

LOL Thank goodness, they are not shown in a row, but I think they are shown one movie each Saturday and repeated on Sunday. It would be a little too much for most of us if they were to show all 6 films in one go.

I watched the first film 'Star Wars: A New Hope' this morning (it's repeated on Sunday), and noticed they added all those bits that were omitted when the movie was first shown and on the videos as well. I remember that I first encountered Jabba in the second film, but he actually appears in the first one, talking to Han Solo for a short while. This actually gives me a better understanding of how desperate Han Solo was and how urgently he needed money. Anyway, the second film 'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back' will be on this coming Saturday, and repeated on Sunday. Additional: Almost forgot - now that the prequel will be shown as well, I think it would have been better to first show the prequel and then the original trilogy, so the films are shown in the right order.

that sucks. ha, you should get off work for a personal day and use it to watch star wars.
Next month I'm having a big star wars marathon..i'm inviting a few people over and we gonna turn my basement into a star wars/ buffet day with cards and stuff to do incase some people want to take a break.. becasue 12 hours for a bunch of people to sit through doing nothing is near impossible for high schools lol.
