I for one, am much looking forward to Episode III. This movie has the potential to become the greatist of all Star Wars movies! It also has the potential to show us alot of STar Wars history mentioned in the first 3 films, as well as answer alot of questions.
By logic, this movie should show us, The final draw that sends Anikin over to the DArk side, Anikin becoming Darth Vader, and why he had to wear that black suit, the birth of the twins, (Luke and Leigh) and why Obi-Wan hides them from Anikin, Padme's death, and how she dies, The fall of the old republic, the destruction of the Jedi, pehaps boba Fett seeking revenge for his fathers death, Chancelor Palptine becomming The Emporor, ect.
I have also heard rumors that Chewbacca will be in this film!
I think, and hope this movie has to be at least 3 hours long, as there is still alot of things we havent seen in episodes 1 and 2.
I am looking forward more to this one then probably the others, excpet maybe The Phantom Menace as it was the first SW film in almost 20 years. I think Vader's music from Episdoe 2 has really excited me, as this will be the grand finalilie.
What do you guys think? What do you think we will see, and what to you hope we will see in Star Wars Epsiode III?

I am looking very much forward to Anakin's eventual turn to the Dark Side. And you are correct about everything this movie should include. I also happen to think that it could be the best out of all of the films.
Regarding why Vader wears the black suit: For literally as long as I can remember, the rumor has been that once Anakin turns to the Dark Side it is up to Obi-Wan to destroy him, since he was Obi-Wan's Padawan. It's been ages since I heard this and I can't remember the source, but the way I heard it was that Obi-Wan and Anakin were having their final showdown on a volcanic planet. Obi-Wan defeated Anakin, but in the process accidentally knocked him into a lava pit. Thinking that Anakin was dead and it was over, he left. But the Emperor saved Anakin's life by rescuing him and creating the Vader suit for him. The suit is supposed to serve as a life support device for all of the parts of his body that were irreparably damaged. It even breathes for him. Hence the famous sound we all know so well. He can only remove the helmet in the safety of that round chamber we saw in either Empire or Jedi. Been a long time since I watched them and I can't remember which one it was in. This version of "The Birth of Vader" is probably just a rumor that's been circulating for twenty years though, so don't put a whole lot of faith in it. The part about Vader's suit sustaining his life functions is accurate though, if I'm not mistaken.
I have a feeling Padme's going to die giving birth to Luke and Leia. That will only serve to push Anakin farther down the path to the Dark Side. Without her influence, he really has nothing to keep all of his anger, rage, and fear in check. This would serve as a good reason to hide the twins from Anakin, since he was probably so distraught he would try to kill them. That and what Obi-Wan told Luke about them being split up and hidden because the Emperor knew if Vader had offspring, they would be just as powerful as he was and he could easily turn them to the Dark Side. Oh damn...waitaminute. I suddenly remember in "Jedi" when Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother. Leia actually says that she remembers her being very beautiful. There goes my whole "Padme dies in childbirth" theory.
I've heard the Chewie rumor, too. Nothing specific though. I've even heard they may throw in a bit of Han Solo as a child, but again, it's only a rumor.
In order for this film to live up to the Star Wars name, and to do justice to the characters we already know and love from the original films, I think it should be at least four hours long. There are too many loose ends to tie up before we see Leia's ship being boarded by Vader in Episode IV. At that point, it's already established that the Empire controls the galaxy, the Jedi are gone except for Obi-Wan and Yoda, and Luke and Leia are at least 18 years old. There are too many things that could have happened during that almost-twenty year time span that need to be properly set up by the end of Episode III so that the continuity of the story flows seamlessly.
As much as I bought into all the hype for Ep's I and II, I ultimately thought the films were a let-down. Ep. I and that damn annoying kid flying around in a pod-racer. And...OH! Remembering what I hated about Episode I made me realize something else I want to see in Episode III!!!!!
The horribly gruesome, Fifteen minute long, graphic as hell, demonically torturous DEATH SCENE FOR JAR-JAR BINKS!!!!! I HATE that guy!!! I wonder how much I'd have to pay Lucas for him to even put that in as a deleted scene for the DVD?? ;D
And in Episode II, I thought the acting between Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen was total crap. It didn't look like they had any chemistry at all, and their lines and scenes seemed forced and even a little stand-offish. Especially in all those deleted "love" scenes that are on the DVD. If it was Lucas who wrote the dialogue for those scenes, then he should never attempt to write or direct a romantic comedy. He needs to stick to what he knows. Lasers and spaceships.
Well, this has certainly turned out to be a long post. Sorry to keep you here so long. Hopefully many of you can speed-read. LOL! All in all, I just hope that Episode III turns out to be more like the original films than the first two. There's a magical sort of feeling I get when I pop in Episode IV and hear the music and see that huge Star Destroyer creeping across my TV screen. I didn't feel that with Episode I or II. There was a certain quality lacking. I'm not 100% sure what that quality is, but I hope George Lucas knows and can put a whole bunch of it into Episode III.

I too have heard that vader's supposed "birth" was because he fell into a volcano during the fight with obi-wan....we shall see if that is true. and I also agree with the first 2 movies being crap. back when Lucas had no budget and had to make do with a good story the movies were great...but now it;s like he is saying" wow...i have all these toys and gadgets and special effects....can someone write me a story to fit them all into" its all effetcs first and screw the story. I hope this one lives up to what the first 3 were like.

Somehow I do think Episdoe III will stand up to the original Triliogy.
Episdodes I & II were great films imo, but I agree, they are lacking something from the originals.

I also heard about the volcano thing. But I dissagree the emporer saving him. I read in SW.com itself that Anakin save himself with his unraveled anger he have with him which lead him to the Dark Side. Yay, we get to see Vader in modern graphics.
