Okay, so, now that all the movies are out for public viewing in some form or another, I'll ask another debate provoking question...
In Return of the Jedi, when Luke and Vader meet in the AT-AT connection, and Luke is told "It is too late for me, son."
Who do you think is speaking there? Vader, or Anakin Skywalker?
I always kind of wondered about it, but now, watching the movie in more detail, I begin to wonder if perhaps Vader did not turn only at the end, but more throughout the movie. Could that have been a momentary lapse to his old self and a realization of what he'd done, or do you think it was just a ploy by Vader?

That is one of my favorite lines in the old trilogy. Luke could sense that there was still good left in Vader. Anakin was in there still...waiting to come out...needing to come out. That was Anakin Skywalker talking in that scene. A perfect set-up for the climax where Vader finally fulfills the prophecy and destroys the Sith.
