The Battle of Hoth was pretty good, a complete salughter of the Rebellion by the Empire. I also liked the battle of Naboo, with both sides split into two large groups across fro each other waiting for the war to begin reminds me of ancienct battles on ancient battlefields. The Battle of Endor was good, but I liked the space battle more then the land battle. I think my favorite would be the battle of Hoth - gotta love the AT-ATs

The battle above curasont was the best because the CG was spectacular and so were all of the sounds.

Hmm.... I know some of them have been spectacular and over-the-top.. but I've always had a soft spot for the original (and best)... The battle of Yavin.

It's the battle of Hoth, hands down. It wasn't really much of a battle but a demonstration of the sheer power of the Empire. A classic shot is seeing a first glimpse of an AT-AT through the eyes of a rebel lookout and his electrobinoculars (zooming out to reveal three more). This is the first time we see a large scale ground battle, and it doesn't disappoint.
In terms of space battles, the original trilogy contained by far the best of the lot. I did not feel the same adrenaline rush watching the space battles in The Phantom Menace, Attack of The Clones and, yes, even Revenge of The Sith. For some reason they don't feel as authentic. And apart from that the spacecraft on display in the originals are far cooler. My favourite, I think, is the battle of Yavin. It's smaller scale than the battle of Endor which makes it more intimate. It also seems more desperate than the battle around the second death star. It flows better as well because there are no interruptions as there are in Return of The Jedi between the space battle, the land battle and the dialogue of Luke, Vader and Palpatine.
The land battles in the EPs I, II and III are little better than the space battles, I think. I definitely did not like the battle for Naboo between the Trade Federation battle driods and the Gungan Army. That maybe because the outcome of the battle didn't really matter to me that much. Also the setting for the battle was poor (the only time I thought Naboo looked really bland).

My vote goes to The Battle of Hoth in episode five. Those AT-AT machines are really strong and look awesome. It's also a battle that started at the beginning of the film so we didn't have long to wait for a great battle scene.
