So do you think of any future episodes?
I don't because you know, it may not look as good as the old ones. And Lucas is quite old so I think he should retire from it

No more movies no. Lucas himself has said there will be no more movies made. That, along with the production of a live action SW TV series, I tend to believe there will be no more SW movies.
I also do not think there should be anymore.

wasn't it rumored at one point that there might be more? Or was it just a rumor? Or am I mistaking it for the TV series I heard of?

I can't remember if Lucas started it, or if an employee of Lucasfilm 'leaked' it, but there was a rumor that has since been shot down by Lucas.

Yes, agreed... GL has said many times that there will be no more movies. And it makes sense because the saga was (basically) about Anakin Skywalker's life.
I think once he joked that in 20 more years he might make three more, but it was only a joke.

I remember hearing that they were going to do episodes seven, eight and nine. But as said they were just rumors. I'm not sure if I would like to see any more episodes created. On one hand I would like to see the rebuilding of the Jedi which would be interesting to see. On the other hand more episodes could ruin Star Wars.

Especially with all the EU novels and etc., it would be hard for GL to either cover those or completely do something on his own (which would make a lot of fans angry). And even if he did cover that area, he would have to skip a lot.
I think it's best that we still to novels and the like if we want to know what might have happened.

I have no idea what channel it will be on, to be honest. I'm not even sure if they have secured a broadcast or network slot yet.

2009? I heard it was supposed to be 2007.. perhaps production is behind.
As for channel... It would be nice to be on network TV, but realistically speaking... I'd be surprised it was. It'd probably go on cable somewhere.

I'm glad that George Lucas has drawn a line under the sixth film and said there'll be no more. I don't think further films would be a good idea at all. Logistically, I don't see how it would work as trying to assemble the cast would be very tricky. Someone earlier made a good point about the novels being our only gateway into the saga of the New Republic. We have had the Old Republic and the Empire given to us in the image of GL, I think it would be nice if we could indulge in our own imagination and create a vision of the last Star Wars chapter personal to us.
