I don't know; I don't really have a favorite planet.

Naboo would be my planet I think. When the Trade Federation isn't around starting trouble, it looks like one of the most beautiful and peaceful planets in all of existence.

Naboo is not my favourite planet by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly is beautiful. The key is that it's varied; it's the most Earth-like of the planets that we have seen in the films (even more so than Yavin V).
I saw some absolutely stunning production stills of Caserta Palace in Italy and Sevilla in Spain, which is where the Naboo scenes were filmed. I wish I could film them again.
Edit - I'll keep an eye out for them and post them if I find them.

Naboo may not be as exciting as Courisant, or Tatooine, but there is something about the serenity of the place that appeals to me. If I lived there, I very much doubt I'd be involved with their government, despite the fact I choose to represent it in my initial post. Some of the scenery reminds me of Montana, my favorite place on Earth. Maybe on a subconscious level that is what attracts me to it. If I lived there I'd build my house outside of any cities, preferably on that majestic lake. I'd of course have a spaceship, and could leave to other planets when I wanted a little excitement, but would always take comfort in the fact that I had a piece of serene paradise to retire to.

Naboo may not be as exciting as Courisant, or Tatooine, but there is something about the serenity of the place that appeals to me. This is why I'd prefer to live on Naboo than the likes of Coruscant which to me gives off the impression its full of crime and other unpleasantness. Same with Tattoine. We all know about the Hutts and the lawlessness. Though I wouldn't say Tattoine was the most exciting place in the galaxy, just ask Luke...

Actually, thinking about it again.... I wouldn't want to be tied down to any planet.
It'd be much more fun to wander the galaxy... Visit Naboo and Tatooine and Coruscant and Yavin 4 and Endor and much much more. I think each planet has its particular qualities.

Well being a senator allows you to travel to different planets, doesn't it? I mean, you have to spend half your time on Coruscant anyway, seeing as that's where your job lies. You'd probably just the most travelling done if you were an ambassador or diplomat of some sort.

True enough, but a senator would also be sort of "stuck" with a bias towards one planet.
