Yes, but eventually storm troopers are just soldiers, regular men who were recruited after all the clones are gone.

Actually the Storm Troopers themselves are actually clones, how do you think they go that many? They're actually not. Some of them may still be clones, but the majority of the Storm Troopers are Imperial Recruits. Han Solo was once a Storm Trooper I believe, before he became a smuggler and met Luke and Obi-Wan. The Clone Wars ravaged the clone army, and the events in Episode 4 take place approx. 19 years after Episode 3. As worlds fell under imperial control, it's feasible that the Emperor would allow recruits from those words to join his imperial army, to strengthen it. The Storm Trooper would be human, because Palpatine was kind of prejudice against non-human species, which again draws parallels with Hitler.

Well, when you are in control of most of the known galaxy, you have quite a lot of manpower at your disposal. And being an dictatorship empire, conscription would have been enforced so you could have created armies full of millions of stormtroopers quite easily. A lot of clones died in the Clone Wars anyway, and the ones that survive are all going to age. So they were probably slowly replaced by the new soldiers under the Imperial regime. Edit - Oops, didn't realise Myke already replied. He explains better. Edit #2 - Han Solo was once a Storm Trooper I believe, before he became a smuggler and met Luke and Obi-Wan. That's pretty much true. He was a young Imperial officer and he met Chewbacca as he was a prisoner aboard an Imperial vessel in space. I think he was kicked out the Imperial Academy because he refused to terminate the Wookie's life when he left it was unfair.

Yeah, I know he was a cadet, but I'm not sure if Han ever became a ST.
Some of this is sort of explained a bit if you ever read Star Wars Allegiance by Zahn. It takes place between ANH and ESB.. and it follows a group of former storm troopers.. who were recruited or joined because they thought they would be doing the Empire some good.
So by then, most of the original Clone troopers were probably wiped out. There was a lot of death and destruction during the Clone wars.

Well, now you know. *No Comment* Just one thought though, judging by the behavior of the Storm Troopers, I'd have thought they were all specially bred clones as recruits (soldiers who are adults or adolescents when they join) don't act like that. Well, I wouldn't expect them to that is.

But back to the poll... I don't know which I like better... Skillwise, I think the Clones are better because they had been trained as killing machines since a young age. While the Stormies are just, basically, well-armed military recruits and soldiers. Which I think by the time the Empire and Rebellion rolls around, have gotten a little lax, in the case of some. (Sometimes they're killed too easily in the films, but sometimes they're good shots). I'm sure it depends on which Stormtrooper regiment it is. Like the 161st would be topnotch, while the rest might not be. However, I think all the Clones are topnotch in skill.

I agree that the Clones are far superior to the Storm Troopers. I think partly what made the Storm Troopers so powerful was simply their numbers, they had to way out number the original Clone Troopers.

Stormtroopers are not known for being the most efficient and lethal fighters as individuals, but as Myke says, their sheer numbers mean they can over power pretty much any other force existent in the galaxy. The superior weapons and armour helps as well, of course.
The clones have to be presumed to be a better fighting force because they are all based on a very special fighter indeed - and even improved upon. If numbers are equal in a battle, I struggle to think of a ground force that can beat the clones. Remember they did a pretty good job of wiping out the last generation of Jedi under the old republic.
