I'm not sure if they mean right now, or tomorrow night, but figured you might enjoy this Val. " A total eclipse of the Moon will occur on Tuesday, May 4. This will be the third such event within a span of less than a year’s time, the two previous lunar eclipses having occurred during 2003 on May 15-16 and Nov. 8. This will be a sky show reserved primarily for those living in the Eastern Hemisphere" Full ArticleToo bad North America will miss out, I love seeing things like this. Like last summer when Mars was closest as it's been in thousand of years, my daughter and I went out and looked at it with the telescope, and that's when I explained to her about planets and space. So she now understand where they are in Star Trek Seriously though, it's something i'll never forget, and hopefully something she wont either.

europe for the most part always has crappy weather....i wonder why....what is it about the jetstreams and stuff there that it rains like 75% of the time...lol Well... I guess because the desserts don´t get much, if any, rain, that part of rain has to be distributed someplace else. So the heavens have decided to keep it lush and green and fertile in Europe. ;D hehehe And well, at 8.52pm GMT we were suppose to see that non-moon. LOL But as I said, it was clouded over. But a little later the clouds disappeared and I saw the most beautiful huge full-moon you can imagine. Additional: I have seen a lunar eclipse before - the next one is suppose to be in August (or was it October?). Well, this year anyway. ;D But some years ago - 1998 or around that time, I saw a solar eclipse. Now THAT is something else. My husband and I took the day off, stayed in London overnight so that we could go onto the Tower Bridge to get a good view. We got ourselves those really dark glasses so you can actually see the sun disappear and it was fantastic. It was a wonderfully summer´s day and no clouds around (that made a change). Mind you, I always thought that when the sun was gone altogether, it would be like night time but it was just like an overcast late afternoon in November. It was still light but like 5pm on a rainy day in November.
