The way I'm figuring it, working 10 hour work days, 4 days a week in a 6 day week, would give us the same amount of free time as it does now. We wouldn't have an extra minute of fre time, we'd have the same amount of time as we do now it would just be grouped together differently. It would be stange for it to be dark at 4AM on Monday, then se the sun straight up at 4AM Thuesday. I guess you could always add extra hours to the clock. That would be very strange. That's right, Myke. The free time per week would be the same BUT... and that's what this is all about... you get MORE free time all at once and work MORE hours in one go. That way, as the report says, you have more time to do your job and you have more free time to do some fun stuff. ;D

Its an interesting idea and I do rather like it but I dont think I could cope with it. Ever since I had glandular fever I need an afternoon nap every day which varies from an hour to three hours. I just dont function trying to work more than about four hours in one go, my mind shuts down and I literally start falling asleep where I sit - and yes I know Im going to really struggle when I have to go out into the big wide world and work and not be able to have those afternoon naps. Im not entirely sure how Ill cope...

No weekend camping trips or any of that.

No weekend camping trips or any of that. This is getting very repetitive. You really need to read the report properly. As I said now a million times, you have a 6-day week, in which you work 4 days and have 2 days off. Now... what is there not to understand?

I did read the article, 3 months ago. Then you should know that this new week also has a 2-day weekend.

You're right, that's why I said 3 months ago. I had it backwards since it's been so long since I read it.
