Well, one of my good friends told me this theory on one fine day of discussing supernatural and paranormal things. It was quite unique because I hadn't heard of this kind of idea.
Well. His theory is that "Aliens" aren't from some other solar system or planet, that it is impossible that any far away galaxy could create such technology to go so far. He thinks that Aliens are humans from the future, and they have time machines and such. The reason that they are coming back in time is the fact that they are trying to prevent the human race from dieing off.
I thought it was pretty interesting. Thoughts?

Aye, or it could be the US government explaining away the experiments they are secretly carrying out on random people.
I think that the aliens are here; the government know it but they won't tell us. Its honestly not far from mind control. Why d'you think UK are introducing biomimetic ID cards? And why are they so expensive? They are going to control the implants in our brains.

George Carelton (sorry for misspelling) made a joke or statement rather, saying "So what exactly is the speed of dark?" well me and my cuz figured out the answer and here it is: The speed of dark has to be the same speed as light beacuse when you shine a light instatly the dark is gone and replaced with light but there are still shadows and there for 1) there is ALWASE some shadow or darkness 2) the speed of dark is the speed of light beacuse they show up and leave at the same time
if i have angerd the threds creator than i have this to say to you " i would rather post my theory in a thred that talks about theorys than make another thred therefore i am not spamming"

Dark is merely the absence of light. If something doesn't reflect light-frequency photons at all then it is perceived by us as dark because it is not sending information in that form to our eyes.

Aliens exist, just because they can't travel here does not men they don't exist. That would be stupid.
Time however is merely a user defined measurement, it does not exist nor can we live without it. In this sense time travel is therefore impossible.

Time is a user defined measurement ,but it exists. This can be compared to the fact that meters are a measurement, yet the distance exists. The distance itself maybe in the users mind but the user can traverse the distance. Why is it so hard to believe the same can be achieved with time? Time at this point is a restricted phenomenon in that we can not travel in more than 1 direction at a specific speed. However time is relative to where you are in space in conjuction to the speed you are going and your mass. It is through changing speed, and mass that time is changed from its current rate, in other words Timespace warps.

Great story idea. Be careful that it won't be nicked.

It is an interesting theory. Kind of reminds me of The 4400.
However it is possible, in theory, to create technology that would allow interstellar travel. But for all we know, it could be people from our future.

I believe in aliens. I think it is impossible for there to be an unlimited number of combinations of planets and life-forms for there not to be. But I doubt that they are here, our governments are so stupid I seriously doubt they could hide that big of a secret from us, especially those fanatics out there(no offense to anyone). I also have a question. If someone does not believe in aliens then they probably don't believe that the universe goes on forever. If the universe doesn't go on forever then there are either parallel universes or nothing. My question, what do you see when you see nothing? Is it just a huge expanse of gray, or black? I'm not sure.

Scientists believe that our universe does have a finite size. However, it would be impossible to for us to reach the edge of the universe, no matter how far we travel. The thinking is similar to out three dimensional universe being compared to a 2 dimensional ball. An ant that lived on a ball may never be able to reach the end of that ball, but that does not mean the ball goes on forever. The ant would have to travel in a new direction/dimension to travel beyond the ball. We as 3 dimensional beings in a 3 dimensional universe cannot comprehend a new direction other then what we can see, height, depth, width. Those are our three dimensions, which we and our universe live in. So to reach the exterior of the universe, we would have to move into a 4th dimension, one we cannot comprehend. At least that's the popular theory of science. Also, it's interesting to note that if the universe does go on forever, then anything and everything that could possibly happen has happened, and will happen. There would be a infinite number of other you's out there, in an infinite number of situations. While there is a theory that this is true in parallel universe's, they find it unlikely that all of this is happening in our universe. So out side of our universe is actually an infinite number of other universes, all shapes and sizes, meaning that some is like our own, a parallel universe, and others are so different that our laws of physics do not apply, unimaginable. Pretty interesting, if not confusing stuff.

There is no edge in our universe! It just links us to another universe!!

There is no edge in our universe! It just links us to another universe!! Not necessarily true. Going by that, if we traveled in a straight line we would leave our universe and enter another, which affectively makes that one infinite universe.
