ClickyI somehow remember it being a little different when I was younger, with a voice over or something. Still pretty cool though.

That's a pretty good trailer despite the voice over part at the end - 'This time its war'. Thought that was a bit cheesy.
I don't think I ever saw that trailer originally as I was too young when Aliens came out to see it in the cinema but thankfully I was able to see it when it came out on VHS.

I wasn't too young but didn't see the movies in cinema either. I bought the videos when they came out, and must have watched the trilogy many times, well... quite a few times, anyway.
And I like the ending of this trailer, where the guy says: This time it's war. Makes the film sound more aggressive. I don't know if I ever saw this trailer, it's been a while, but it's a good one.

Val if this is the same trailer showed 20 years ago, when you saw it on TV did you know immediately that it was a sequel to Alien? I don't really remember the trailer at all, but it seems to me like I wouldn't know it was an Alien sequel right off the bat.

I don't really remember the trailer at all, but it seems to me like I wouldn't know it was an Alien sequel right off the bat. As I said, I really don't recall ever seeing a trailer of Alien(s). It's possible, but don't remember at all. All I know is that I watched the video of the first movie, which had a proper ending, and then, some years later, a second Aliens film came out. But I really can't swear that I saw a trailer. First of all, I don't go that often to the cinemas, where the trailers are shown. And at that time, I didn't go to the cinema at all. So unless something had been advertised on TV, I would have only known of the sequel when hearing about it from others or seeing the video in the shops.
