Obviously all of them are very dangerous, but if you HAD to encounter on of the species of xenomorph, which would you choose? (and I left the alien/human hybrid from A:R out intentionally).

The Facehugger is the smallest of the aliens, and the one which I would be able to kill the easiest - hopefully. Of course, if you encounter a facehugger, rather than the egg in which the facehugger stays until it's ready to come and out and kiss you, then you better be super quick and shoot it from a distance, before it's in your face, so to speak.

It would depend for me...
If I was in a large open area, definitely a facehugger. At least I could try to run away from or, shoot it, or even stomp it if I got lucky.
If I were in a claustrophobic place, closed area, I'd prefer a warrior. This way I could have a chance at hiding from it. There's no way to our run one in the open, and in an enclosed area the facehuggers could come out of small ventilation shafts.
However, being in a closed space with either of them would be terribly frightening. *shudders*

I am going to choose the facehugger too. It seems the least dangerous. If you cover your mouth with some sort of mask than it will make you immune to the attack of the face hugger. It would also be the easiest to kill if you had a gun.

But the mask didn't help Kane. Also, what if the facehugger gets you, what a terrible way to die, with a chestburster bursting out of your chest.

Dang-it! I didn't think of that... His mask was made of glass. They can invent a mask with metal plating around the mouth area. I think that will be enough to repel a facehugger attack. On second thought... Wouldn't the chestburster be the least dangerous out of all the alternatives? Think of it... Its small... and very fragile.

They all scare me way too much for me to choose for an encounter, unless I was a Predator or something.

That is a good point but I think that the face is the most accessible out of all of the other openings in the body.

The chestburster would be the least dangerous, actually not much of a danger at all. So young, they pose no real threat and could be easily killed, even with our bare hands if we want to risk their acid bloods getting on us. What was the alien/human hybrid? I haven't watched the last movie in a long time... It was this thing: Remember, since Ripley had the strength of the aliens due to the alien DNA from her cloning, the Queen had human DNA and instead of laying eggs with facehuggers, she gave birth to a live alien, this hybrid.

OHH! I remember now. I think I also remember that the alien/human alien also killed the queen if I'm not mistaken.

All those choices are pretty scary, I mean terrifying... but I defiantly would choose face hugger. Face huggers are quite small creatures and they are quite easy to kill by using a gun or some kind of stick weapon. Also they don't intend to kill you unlike Aliens. Aliens are still pretty rough with you even when they intend to take you back to their nest. Also i think you could outrun them and as long as you grab their tail they would be easier to get away from. If the worst comes to to the worst and you fail and an alien is put in your chest then you can always kill yourself when the time comes. If your in the days on the Alien movies they have the technology to extract it from you.

Remember you only have a matter of hours before the alien fully matures. If you get lucky they can extract it if you arrive in time.

The time it takes for the alien within a human body seems to vary within the films. In the orginal film it seems to take overnight and in Alien 3 the alien takes a couple of days to mature. However in Alien vs Predator it only seems to take a couple of hours. Anyway while you got a alien within you an alien won't attack (as seen in Alien 3) unless you try to kill them so you can do something about the aliens.

I don't count the gestation period in AVP as canon. That happened way too fast. It has been said that the longer time it took in Alien 3 is because Ripley had a queen in her, and Queens take longer then regular warrios/drones to gestate.
