Holy cow!I can't express how excited I am about this. I, along with many fans of this genre, have been hoping HBO would take on something like this for a long time now. For books as long and complicated as George R.R. Martin's are, HBO can do this much better than any motion picture. Now, hopefully this is successful, as we might see "The Wheel of time" get the approval of the station. So, any fans of the series? It's highly original.

Ok, so i've never heard of this Fire and Ice thing, but I am excited for the reason that you mentioned, that we might see something like Wheel of Time, or Sword of Truth turned into a series. They can be so much more faithful to the story doing it like that. Omg, if I ever hear about them doing either, Id be very tempted to go audition, even though Im not an actress Just, because, well, it would be a dream come true, and the dream cant come true if you dont ever at least try.

You're right about that. The only way the Wheel of Time can be brought to the cinema is if "eye of the world" was released alone. That'll be no good, so a lengthy HBO series would be most welcome. Though as a fan of "Rome" I know that they tend not to know any battles because of the budget...
