Nice thread idea, Dill. Where ever do you come up with such things? All I have to say is that there was probably another reason other than special effect that the movie was made after he died. He was very protective on what went on in the books.

I couldnt really say as I have never read the books. I thought the films were fantastic, but I've seen some negitive opinions on them from the fans of the books, so I'd have to read, then decide for myself.
