No merchandise for me (pun man I would want one of those swords). But for movies I have all three regular films, the first two extended editions (I'll have the third when it comes out), and a National Geographic documentary. For the books, I have all three LotR books, the Hobbit, the Silmarillion, the History of Lord of the Rings (by Tolkien's son), and the A to Z Guid of Middle Earth (by Robert Foster).

Well, I have not much at all in terms of the films, other than VHS of the first film, DVD Extended Edition of the first film, and the normal and extended DVDs of both The Two Towers and The Return of The King. I have this book about weapons and costumes in the films, and a few little books about the making of it etc. I've also got a guide to the film Middle-Earth (quite different to Tolkien's Middle-Earth), but I rarely read.
I have more Tolkien stuff in terms of the books however. I have two copies of The Lord of The Rings trilogy - an older copy, and a newer copy since the film trilogy was released. I have The Hobbit in hardback (fantastic cover - probably my favourite book), as well as The Silmarillion. I have lots and lots of other reference guides, the most useful being Unfinished Tales. I couldn't really write about all of my Tolkien books.
There is one series of volumes of books that I want immensely. The History of Middle-Earth (HoME). It's huge and expensive, and I want it. There are twelve volumes, and they explained Middle-Earth from the Beginning to the end of Tolkien's work (some hundred years into the Fourth Age).
I don't have any Lord of The Rings games, mainly because I think they are rubbish. I don't want Tolkien's world spoiled by one dimensional, ridged, linear fighting games. Even Middle-Earth Online doesn't hold much hope for recreating the depth of Tolkien's world. No game has ever reached anywhere near that sort of depth, in any genre.

LOL, I never thought of that, but then again I don't have it. Ok. In terms of computer games, I don't like anything LOTR-based.

See you guys have me beat by far already. I only own 'The Hobbit' - paperback, and both FOTR & Two Towers on DVD, neither are Extended Editions.
I remember around the time the Two Towers came out on DVD, Wal-Mart had a lie sized replica of Gollum, it looked disturbingly JUST LIKE HIM. It was made out of latex rubber or something, but it looked like he could come alive at any second. Very realistic. I don't remember exactly how much he was, but it wa somewhere in the neighborhood of $400.00 or so, which was way beyond my price range. I'd still love to have him though, I just can't get over how realistic he was.

I remember those. Yes, it did look pretty realistic. It would be kinda scary to wake up in the middle of the night and see it staring at you.
But of course, bing the way I am, I will never buy anything from Wal Mart.

Same here, FantasyLover.
Okay, Tolkien merchandise....Lets see.
Well, I have two sets of The Lord of the Rings books - one Ballantine set, and one with all three installments in one book, illustrated by John Howe. I also have The Silmarillion on paperback, The Hobbit on paperback, Unfinished Tales on paperback, and the The History of Middle-Earth series on paperback. And also: The Making of the Movie Trilogy, The Art of the Return of the King, The Art of The Two Towers, etc...
I own the Extended Edition of The Fellowship of the Ring DVD, the Theatrical and Extended Edition of The Two Towers DVD, and the Theatrical Edition of The Return of the King DVD.
There you have it. The merchandise of a Tolkien fanatic.
