So, I'm really interested in the spoiler of the new book. Anyone read it yet? Which characters push up daises?

For a really good spoiler look it up on Wikipedia, that's where I looked because I wanted to know if Harry dies or not. He doesn't. That Voldemort guy dies, and a lot of other characters I don't really know. The only name I recognized was Snape, he dies too

I read this book it less than two days. But I ain't saying who snuffs it. But, I can tell you, Harry, Ron and Hermione don't. Edit: But Kmylove gave a short list though.

Well, after reading this one, I came away pretty satisfied. The book had the greatest scene in the entire series (everybody knows which one I'm talking about), and most of the storylines got wrapped up in a nice, pretty bow. So with that in mind:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban 2. Goblet of Fire 3. Deathly Hallows 4. Half-Blood Prince 5. Sorceror's Stone 6. Order of the Phoenix 7. Chamber of Secrets

I disliked the last part about life 19 yrs later..... a waste of paper and ink.

It was a cute way to end the story and to end any speculation of further sequels.

I've read about one third of the book. Before I bought the book I had a look to see who died but I'm not a huge fan so I won't get upset with who died.
I'm not sure how people can read this book in a couple of days. I've had this book for about a week. It's a good read but you lose concentration after half an hour or so of reading.

I can't put the book down, personally. That being said, I'm a slow reader, so it still took me three days

I agree; I thought the whole 19 years later thing was a waste. I preferred leaving it to my own imagination. Now I'm stuck with that whole last epilogue (though I liked the very last sentence).
All in all, I thought it was a great ending for the series. It tied things up and gave me a sense of closure.
