Hello, everyone. I'm Ramirez (my online alias ) and i've accumulated various nicknames over the years such as Ram, Rammy, Rami, Ramz etc so feel free to call me whatever you like. The amount of times I have passed by this forum is amazing. I've often come by here as a guest but for some reason never had the chance to sign up, so I thought I would finally do so today. This forum looks amazing, and I am glad to be here. Hmmm as for a little bit about me, I enjoy video gaming thoroughly, I am interested in web design (I'm competent at Photoshop and I know various coding languages). I also love films (Star wars rocks! =D) and various other things which I am sure you'll come to realize. Well enough from me... Heheheh. >_<

I to am competent with Photoshop, and am into webdesign. Despite popular opinion, I still consider myself a novice at both web design and Photoshop though, as I'm self taught, but think I do okay for being self taught. If I had the time I'd take some university courses in web design, I'm sure I'd past the first half with flying colors, but would love to learn more. Technically I'm a college student, am just not attending classes at the moment. A little about me, I'm 27, a single father, absolutely love science fiction, and am a big movie buff in all genres. Which programming languages do you know? Edit: I recognize your forum from somewhere, have you posted it in GOAYB before?

Amazing! Another thing in common. I taught myself the majority of what I know in web design... I used to practice a lot with Paint as a kid and then my family got a new computer with Paint Shop Pro 8 and I used that loads until I purchased Photoshop. As for programming languages I use HTML, CSS, Javascript and thats about it... I did study PHP a little bit but never had enough time to fully expand my knowledge... Which is something I am slightly annoyed with. >_< And yes, I have posted it there several times. Thank you very much for your welcome! ;D

Same here, (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, although I'm still a beginner in Javascript. I know the basics, and can tweak existing codes to get it to perform specific functions, but am still a long way from knowing it all. Peter on ProBoards Support has been helping me. CSS can also do some interesting things besides just set style attributes, did you know it's possible to design an entire webpage using only CSS? I was reading about it the other day, gonna try it one of these days. I know a little flash, as you can see on the coming soon animation on the index page of our website, but I find flash extremely difficult. I'm only a beginner in it and think it's something I'll have to take a class for as opposed to teaching myself. I know nothing about PHP, which is something I'd really like to learn. All I really need to do is go sign up for the classes, but there's that time problem, I just don't have the time for it. You have an advantage on me though, you started young, I never really got into web design until about 3 years ago or so. You should've seen the first version of this forum, it was terrible looking.
