I have to pick Tom Baker. I'm 27, so the previous doctors were before my time. I remember being a little, little kid begging my mom to let me stay up and watch Dr Who. I used to run around with a scarf on my neck like the Doctor had.

By far, my choice for favorite Doctor has to be Tom Baker. He is the Doctor. Three other actors played the role before he did, but Tom Baker perfected the role. He was absolutely perfect in that role.
From the new series, however, I'm torn between Eccleston and Tennant. Eccleston was great as the Doctor; he seemed to combine aspects of previous Doctors and add his own quirks, like the dark, vengeful side of his personality. Tennant, however, is great, as he is funny, while staying true to the idea of who the Doctor is. I'd have to say that, between them, Tennant is my favorite. But favorite Doctor overall is still Tom Baker.

Well I've got to say the forth Doctor, Tom Baker. There is just something about him being the Doctor that no one has improved on.

He could be a funny character, but when he got angry, that's where his acting as the Doctor was the best.

His anger and hatred towards the Dalek even made the it comment that he would be a good Dalek.

David Tennant. I dont know the older doctors very well, Iv seen a coupla episodes in the past, but not much. Of the two new series though, David Tennant, in my opinion, way surpasses Christopher Eccleston. Hes got that cheeky grin, that twinkle in his eye, that slightly eccentric way of going about things. Hes just got it all perfect in my opinion.
